What to Expect
Experience traditional Chinese pastries made with organic, natural, and healthy plant-based ingredients grown by my parents, such as the classic Five-Nut Mooncake. This represents China's Mid-Autumn Festival tradition and evokes childhood memories for those born in the 1970s–1980s. All ingredients are organic, natural, and plant-based.
You can also learn from me about the story and traditional symbolism of five-nut mooncakes. During the harvest season in fall, the mooncake fillings are made from seasonal foods we gather. The different sweet flavors of five-nut mooncakes represent reunion and sweetness—a bountiful harvest of spring-sown and fall-reaped foods coming together as families enjoy moon viewing.
Many years ago, people could only eat mooncakes during the annual Mid-Autumn Festival and occasionally have dumplings during holidays. With the development of the times, living conditions have improved significantly. Now, people can enjoy dumplings, mooncakes, zongzi, or tangyuan on any happy occasion to celebrate the sweetness of life and share joy.

Experience process
1. I will guide everyone through an in-depth experience of the entire process (sharing all the secrets of noodle-making without reservation) - from selecting different filling combinations to kneading dough, proofing, wrapping mooncakes, and experiencing every step of the process.
2. Whether you take the subway or a taxi, I will personally meet you at the subway station entrance or your door.
My home is located in the eastern part of Beijing, close to Universal Studios, so please plan your time accordingly. It's very convenient as it's right next to the subway.
3. Each person can take home a portion of traditional Chinese pastries they made themselves (I can provide elegant packaging boxes).
