Things to do in Bali

Bali is Indonesia’s island of dreams, where jungle meets ocean and culture blends with adventure. From the tranquil temples of Ubud Bali to the coastline of Seminyak, Bali is a place where every corner has its own charm. Bali weather stays warm year-round, but the best time to visit Bali is during the dry season, from May to September. Swing high above rice terraces on a Bali Swing, cool off at Waterbom Bali, or explore the island’s fiery side with a sunrise trek up a Bali volcano. Families love Bali Zoo, while beach lovers and yogis find their peace across the island. With so many things to do in Bali, every day feels like a new adventure.

Reviews: Nusa Penida All-Inclusive Full-Day Tour With Transfers

The "all-inclusive" package truly lives up to its promise. The tour includes hotel transfers, speedboat tickets, a guide on the island, and lunch (one course and one drink; additional options are available from the menu). We particularly enjoyed Diamond Beach and Atuh Beach (located nearby); if they weren't on the tour, the trip probably wouldn't have been as impressive (few tour operators include this beach). Kelingking Beach was so crowded, with lines to take photos—I didn't like it at all, even though I had high hopes for it. 😁 The nature is certainly beautiful, and it's worth a visit. The organization was excellent: we were picked up from our hotel (Nusa Dua) at 6:00 AM, taken to the port, helped with boat tickets, and met our driver-guide at the pier in Nusa Penida who accompanied us throughout the trip. The road is challenging, winding, and narrow, but we navigated every turn with flying colors! By 4:00 PM, we were back at the port, the guide got us tickets at the ticket office, and we waited for the boat ourselves. A transfer to the hotel was waiting for us upon arrival.

Enjoy a southern tour with a delightful guide. Fantastic scenery and the emerald waves of the stunning ocean await you. The monkeys are surprisingly gentle, too. Don't worry too much.
Reviews: Bali Full-Day Customized 10 Hour Private Tour with Driver Speaking Guide
Guest User2026-05-09
This was my first time in Bali, and I had a wonderful time thanks to the guidance of Scalia (aka Sue). Sue is fluent in Japanese, so communication was easy, and she chose the places we wanted to go. She was also very attentive, taking photos at each point of interest, and I enjoyed hearing all sorts of stories about Bali during the car ride. If I have the chance, I would love to visit the eastern region that Sue recommended. Thank you very much.
Reviews: Ubud: All-Inclusive Tour with Optional Lunch

Despite getting soaked in the rain 🌧️ that day, we still enjoyed the experience of exploring that side of Bali. We had a wonderful driver/tour guide (Wirma) and the other two people who were with us on the tour were great travel buddies. We got stuck in traffic for a very long time on our way back to Kuta, so we had a sing along in the car. 🎶 It was a very fun day overall. 🥰🇮🇩
