I spent 10 days in Italy, and the internet speed was smooth and the price was reasonable. Outside the city, the connection was intermittent but quickly reconnected. I mostly uploaded photos to the cloud, using about 15GB in 10 days. Since I was on a tour, I spent most of my time visiting museums and following the itinerary, so I didn't have time to use my phone. Overall, I found it useful. (Be careful of pickpockets in Milan, Rome, and Florence).

Buzludzha Monument is stunning, but you only spend ~30 minutes of the 11 hour tour at the monument. The rose oil museum wasn't particularly interesting compared to the monument.


