The driver was very competent, even serving us in two languages, super easy to understand, and highly motivated. He was very friendly, and the trip was fantastic; it was just the two of us. We got a great view of Chioggia and its canals. I would book it again anytime.

You cruise through the lagoon by boat and get a great insight into mussel farming, crab fishing, and have all sorts of other questions answered. A friend and I were the only ones who booked, so we had a private tour. It was really interesting to see all the facilities up close and understand how they work technically. You sign an agreement because you're considered the caterer for the boat and the skipper is the skipper. I didn't know that beforehand, so it would be great if this agreement could be uploaded here so people can read (and translate) it beforehand. But all in all, it was a great, informative, and fun tour through the lagoon.

We spent one night in Chioggia and opted for the evening tour – it was absolutely perfect and the highlight of our holiday. Damiano was incredibly friendly and a fantastic guide (extremely punctual, excellent communication, and a very clean/like-new boat). He told us a great deal about the area (answering all our questions) and speaks perfect English. You can tell he loves the region. The sunset and the tranquility of the lagoon were indescribably beautiful, and we'll never forget the boat trip through the canal in the old town. You also get lots of information about the individual buildings and about fish and shellfish farming. We highly recommend this tour and thank Damiano again – great job!!
