Erhai Lake is absolutely stunning! However, weather is crucial; a cloudy day would significantly diminish its beauty. We were lucky to avoid rain.
The driver was contacted in advance and arrived on time. He was very knowledgeable about the sights along the way, answered all our questions, and explained the local customs and culture of Dali. He was patient, enthusiastic, and humorous throughout the trip.
I especially want to commend the driver's sense of responsibility. When we got out of the car, I carelessly left something behind, and I needed to go to the airport the next day for my return trip. After contacting him, he immediately arranged for a courier service. I'm incredibly grateful! Thumbs up!★

One of the best decisions we made in Dali!
I booked this tour just 2 days before our Dali trip. The tour manager who I communicated with on http://Trip.com was very nice and professional. They explained that my first hotel booking could not be accommodated because it was too far from their pick-up point, so they politely declined the initial booking — which I completely appreciated for their honesty.
I then changed our hotel to Dali Old Town and rebooked. After that, everything became very easy and seamless. After the tour, they dropped us off at the Old Town entrance, just a 50-meter walk from our hotel.
I highly recommend booking with them. This is one of the most affordable tours but really worth every penny. Excellent value for money!
