Reviews: Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne Day Tour: Red Sand Dunes + White Sand Dunes + Fairy Stream, Mui Ne with Optional Chinese/English Guide

Starting from Ho Chi Minh City, it's a bit of a distance, and you'll stop at a highway rest stop for restrooms. Fairy Stream is cleaner than I expected, mainly because walking on the fine sand and enjoying the cool flowing water is very comfortable. However, be careful when walking barefoot as there are sharp small stones and potholes. Pay attention while walking, or wear wet flip-flops. After about 10 minutes, you can see sand dunes and stone pillars, which are great for taking photos. The seafood lunch was excellent, with fresh and sweet shrimp. When you reach the White Sand Dunes, you'll need to pay about 145k VND per person to ride in a 6-seater pickup truck, or an off-road vehicle for an even higher price. I recommend paying the extra fee to get to the White Sand Dunes, as they are great for taking photos. The Red Sand Dunes are perfect for taking photos with the sunset. You need to go a little further in to avoid crowds and take better pictures, but you won't have much time to stop there. Overall, the trip was great.
Reviews: Mui Ne Desert Jeep Tour – Full Package [Pick-up, Drop-off, Lounge]
Guest User2026-06-14
This was the itinerary I was most looking forward to on my trip to Mui Ne, and it exceeded my expectations. Traveling in a jeep allowed us to comfortably tour Mui Ne's major attractions, and the scenery of the White Sand Dunes and Red Sand Dunes was truly impressive. In particular, the sunrise and desert landscapes were much more beautiful than they appeared in photos. The driver was also kind enough to guide us to the key points and pointed out great photo spots, allowing us to create many wonderful memories. The travel route was efficient, allowing us to visit multiple attractions in a short amount of time, and the vehicle was clean, making for a comfortable ride. Since pickup and drop-off services were included, we could enjoy the trip without worrying about transportation. We were also satisfied that the entire itinerary followed the provided details almost exactly. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mui Ne for the first time. We took it on a couples' trip and made some truly wonderful memories. 🌅🏜️😊
Reviews: Mui Ne Jeep Adventure: Explore Sand Dunes with a Local Expert Guide

The itinerary from Fairy Creek to the Red and White Sand Dunes was perfectly paced, with excellent time management and attention to detail. While the White Sand Dunes require an additional fee, the inclusion of two designated photo spots is a thoughtful touch. The main theme, strolling through the Red Sand Dunes at sunset, offers an immersive experience. Furthermore, the lack of a strict return-to-hotel time, allowing guests ample time to enjoy the beauty of the sunset, is a considerate touch.
