I was traveling with my 20 yr old son, staying in Talkeetna, and we had an afternoon to burn. I called Susitna Sled Dog Adventures and spoke to Alyssa. She set up a tour, I think it was same day. We had a blast! Rohn spent so much time with us introducing us to the dogs--oh my gosh, there were so many beautiful pups--taking them for a walk on their beautiful property and telling us all about sled dog racing and caring for the dogs on his team. And we got hang out with the new puppies. What a cool experience! I hope to go back in winter and go out on the trail with these amazing dogs.

It was a really nice experience and a great way to learn more about Fijian culture, traditions, food, music, and village life. 🇫🇯✨ The traditional performances were beautiful, and everyone was welcoming and friendly. The only disappointing part was the food. They ran out of several dishes quite early, so by the time I went to get food, there wasn’t much left for us to choose from. It would have been nice if there had been enough food available for everyone. Overall, still a memorable cultural experience and a lovely way to see a different side of Fiji. 🌴🤍
