A day trip on September 20th! The advantage was that I didn't need to worry about booking the bus in advance, saving time and effort. It was a little more expensive because there were only a few of us, so it was practically a private car – just four Japanese people plus me. The itinerary description said to speak Japanese and communicate in English, but the driver couldn't speak a word of English. Luckily, I'm an experienced traveler, so the conscientious driver didn't have to bother explaining the rules to me...★

A day trip from Nagoya to Kamikochi was fantastic!
It was drizzling that day, and the mountains were shrouded in mist, the greenery refreshing and truly magical!
A special thank you to our guide, Xiao Yu; she was beautiful, kind, and incredibly warm and attentive. Since we didn't speak the language, she even helped us book a local barbershop by phone, solving a huge problem. She thoughtfully reminded us about safety on the road in the rain and recommended authentic Nagoya cuisine on the return trip. Her considerate service made the rainy day trip a truly memorable experience—highly recommended!★

Shanggaodi is truly a wonderful place. While it was scorching 37 degrees Celsius outside, it was only 18 degrees Celsius in Shanggaodi. Everywhere you look, there are mountains, water, bridges, trees, flowers, and a beautiful natural landscape composed of plants, animals, and insects. There were a lot of guests that day, and our guide, Ms. Dong, carefully checked with each group, explained the difficulty level of the walking routes using maps, and allowed ample time, making for a very pleasant experience.
