We departed from the Queenstown meeting point at 7:30 AM and didn't arrive at the Milford Sound ticket office until just after 1:00 PM, stopping at several scenic spots for about ten minutes for photos. The boat trip lasted about two hours before heading back to Queenstown. In total, we spent over nine hours on the bus, which was incredibly uncomfortable – only the brave could make it! The driver spoke Chinese and was very nice! I wasn't particularly impressed by the fiordland scenery.

I was worried that driving to the fjords would be too tiring, so I booked this small group tour. The tour leader was very enthusiastic and helpful, explaining things to us, joking around to liven things up, and even taking photos for us. The meals were very plentiful, and there were many photo spots along the way where we could stop for pictures. Highly recommended!

Absolutely magical day! Very comfortable van. Loved the smaller group. Shelley was our driver and guide. Loved her experience and educating us along the way. Will never forget the experience. You will not regret being driven to this remote spot and the stops along the way to enjoy the epic scenery. Can't recommend enough. Thank you Shelley!
