Our tour guide, Abu, was incredibly professional! Today, we took the wrong exit while visiting Byodoin Temple and missed reaching the shopping street. Seeing this, our guide kindly led us back to the shopping street; we were so grateful for his help. The tour bus driver was also very polite and drove smoothly, making our trip very comfortable.★

Although it rained heavily that day and my shoes were soaked all day, it didn't dampen my spirits at all. The deer in Nara were so cute, it was just a pity the interaction time was too short! The matcha ramen and matcha takoyaki in Uji weren't very flavorful; I felt the matcha drinks, matcha churros, and matcha grilled dumplings were much more delicious!
Fushimi Inari was exactly like in the anime, magnificent! I've also attached photos of Todai-ji Temple, Byodo-in Temple, and the Uji River. This day was truly fulfilling and well worth it!★

This day tour was a fantastic choice for our family of six! Meeting at 7:50 AM in Nipponbashi, Osaka, was incredibly convenient. We visited Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Kiyomizu-dera, Sannenzaka, and also Byodo-in Temple, Omotesando (the main approach to Japan), and Uji Shrine – a rich and diverse itinerary.
What touched us most was our tour guide, Joy, who took impeccable care of us throughout the trip! Joy not only provided clear and detailed explanations in Chinese but also enthusiastically helped us take beautiful family photos – her photography skills were superb! Furthermore, Joy generously recommended must-try local foods and Uji matcha, ensuring we enjoyed authentic and delicious meals. She was incredibly patient with both the older members and the children, making our family trip safe and enjoyable.
A huge thank you to Joy for giving us such wonderful memories! If any friends or family are planning a trip to Kansai, I will definitely recommend Joy's tour! 👍★

We had an amazing day with our guide Jasmine, who accompanied us from Osaka to Nara, Uji and Kyoto. We had a comfortable minivan transfer and even could take our luggage with us. We were the only family of four so it was like a real vip excursion. We enjoyed the best of Nara park and the guide kindly accompanied us across Uji and the beautiful Uji museum, showing us the best shops and places. In Kyoto we not only visited the best sights, but also found a big Totoro shop with the help of Jasmine, the visit of this very shop was our family’s big dream and it came true, thank you! We loved our trip and we are very grateful for giving us a warm welcome in Japan.★

Redeeming tickets is smooth and simple; you can exchange them for physical tickets at the airport's automatic ticket machines! You can reserve two reserved seats on the Haruka Limited Express, making round trips between the airport and Kyoto/Osaka extremely convenient. While limited to Kyoto, Osaka, Kobe, and Nara, a 5-day wide-area tour is recommended for those wanting to travel further afield.★

The time balance is a bit off: it would be better to spend more time in Nara Park and a little less time in Uji. A 60/40 split would be ideal. Overall, I'd give it a 9.5/10.
