Today we went out to watch whales on the 10am trip. We did see lots of seals and also a lot of humpback whales. Megan and Ryan were a great team and did very well explaining everything. Thx to the skipper too, didn't catch his name.

Great little ride! We saw lots of wildlife. Very knowledgeable guide. We were on the open boat in the full sun during a heat wave, but even with the required safety suit, it was still very comfortable all day. You are required to wear a full suit but it can be off from your waist up, so just protect yourself from the sun. The guide takes tons of pics which they will share for your own use. There is a toilet on board the little boat too. I think we were out for about 4 hours or so. We had 8 passengers on the boat with room for 12. It is a very bumpy, but fun, ride so take your Dramamine. We saw a humpback whale, sea lions, seals, bald eagles and other birds.

It was amazing! Had a great time seeing all the humpback whales in the area. Didn't expect that the whales will stay for that long. This is the highlight of our trip to Victoria. The crew are very knowledgeable especially Michael, the environmentalist. I enjoyed all his commentaries.
