I was dissatisfied with the booking service for this trip. Because I booked a tour through Ctrip in Guangzhou, all inquiries had to be handled by the order specialist in Shanghai, who would then contact the Guangzhou office before replying. This resulted in two problems: firstly, the process was lengthy; secondly, the visa requirements in Shanghai and Guangzhou differed, leading to sometimes ambiguous responses, which caused a long and complicated visa application process. Overall, the trip was acceptable and largely within expectations.★

The tour guide was terrible, but the scenery at Sanqingshan was very nice. I suggest including a visit to an ancient village in your itinerary in Wuyuan, otherwise you'll practically miss out on the entire trip.Trip.com picks
