Faroe is an island north of Gotland in southeastern Sweden, in the Baltic Sea. The population of the island is very small, so there are no banks, post offices, medical facilities and police stations on the island. But this small island is a very popular holiday island in summer, and Swedes love to come here for vacation and relaxation.

Show More ReviewsWanting to see the Swedish countryside, I rented a car from Visby and stayed in Faro for 1 night, then drove around the island. I must say that it was a true slow life. Even though there were not many cars, we drove at only 40 km/h and no one overtook us. It was funny. We drove along until the car in front of us turned off the main road by itself. 😂 The dinner restaurant does not accept walk-ins. You have to make a reservation before 2 pm. You can eat after 10 pm, so you can't. 😅 I ate the old food in my bag as usual. 😅
