Impressive iron window doors
Original Text
This building is a historic building of the former Hokkai Miscellaneous Grain Co., Ltd. on Sakaimachi Hondori in Otaru City. It is made of woodblock stone with soft stone on the outside of the timber frame, and the iron window door and the udatsu are wonderful. It was now used as "Otaru Glass Lights and Irodori", a shop selling glass crafts and making tonbot balls.
A building built in 1907, that is, in 1897. The Western-style stone building makes you feel the season and retains a different feature from other buildings. Although it is a western style building, the roof is tiled, and the window is equipped with a Kannon open door. The construction of the window reminiscent of the entrance of the warehouse has a Japanese aspect, and it can be said that it is built as a building of Japanese style eclectic. The fact that udatsu is made on both sides is probably a feature of Japanese houses that continue from Edo itself.

A building built in the Meiji period in Hondori, Sakai Cho
Original Text
It is a building from the Meiji era designated as a historic building designated by Otaru City No. 85. Currently, it is a store where you can sell glass crafts and experience making dragonfly balls. The sleeve walls with small roofs on both sides of the front are characteristic. I envy Otaru because there are many buildings of the Meiji period.

Weifengtang 々
It was a profound appearance of Maifudo 々, probably because it was symmetrical from the front. How many years is it built?
