Bukit Batok Nature Park is home to a beautiful quarry cliff that sits within a pristine pond, and a WWII memorial site.

A park, better known as Little Guilin, is located near a small town of Bukit Batok. It got its name because it resembles Guilin in China. Though it’s not as magnificent as the real Guilin, this place is still very popular among photographers, wedding couples, outdoor goers and even urban explorers. The scenic and unique view makes it really rare in Singapore. If you’re a tourist and do not feel like or have visited the popular tourist attractions such as Merlion, Gardens by the Bay, Haji Lane and what not, you have to check out this place! Fun fact: this park was once a quarry that supplied Singapore’s granite needs until it was abandoned sometime in the 80s.
Bukit Batok Nature Park is one of my favourite park for jogging. Well shaded, you get to see wild chickens & sometimes monkey, great place for children as there is also a playground. On weekends morning, there are fitness group doing mass exercises for elderly.
