It is a small park in the valley of the building. It used to be the entrance to the U. S. Army Tachikawa Base, but nothing made me feel it.

A small square about 5 minutes walk from Tachikawa station

It is a square located about 5 minutes north of Tachikawa Station. There is a bench and it is a good place to take a break. There is no trace of it now, but according to the bulletin board in the square, this area was the main gate of the Army Squadron before the war and the site of the US Army after the war.

It's not a square, but there are benches where you can relax during the walk, so it's a place that can be used for a short break. In summer, the shade of trees looks comfortable.

Straight from the station

Go straight from the north exit of Tachikawa, a square near Farre Tachikawa. There is a monument to "Municipal Government ５０ Anniversary". There are many citizens taking a break with wooden benches.
