Tongsha Reservoir is 8 kilometers southeast of Dongguan City, in the middle reaches of Huangsha River, a tributary of Hanxi River. It is named because it is located in Tongsha Village, southeast of Guancheng. Built in 1960. The catchment area is 100 square kilometers. The total storage capacity is 65.2 million cubic meters. The reservoir is surrounded by mountain peaks such as Huanggong Mountain and Huxing Mountain. It covers an area of 9,800 mu and is surrounded by greenery. The lake is calm as a mirror, the beautiful bays are continuous, and the island in the center of the lake has a charming scenery, like a paradise. In addition, there are amusement facilities such as jet skis, water parachutes, barbecues, racecourses, sports fields, etc., which are good places for tourism and vacation.
