Yamanaka Lake Ryozan
3.8/534 Reviews
A quiet inn in a forest about a 10-minute walk from the shores of Lake Yamanakako. An inn with an image similar to that of a youth hostel. This stay was for 5 adults and was a room with a board space between 8 tatami mats. The cospa was the best because it was split by 5 people. The check-in time was told in advance, but when the schedule changed and we arrived early, the front desk was absent. It seems that only one person is responding, and the phone seems to be difficult to connect. If you have any questions, it seems better to ask them all at once. Reception until 10pm. Room facilities include TV, refrigerator, kettle, tea / cup, and bath towel. There is no yukata or toothbrush. It was not cold at all because I paid a heating fee of 1000 yen and put a stove in the room in winter. Baths and wash basins use shared facilities. The bath is available from 19:00. There is no meal service, but there are several restaurants if you walk to the lake. At the inn there were cup noodle sales and vending machines. An inn with a style that you do yourself. There is no excess service, and I think that is reflected in the price. Comfortable enough.
Fuji Matsuzono Hotel

We are glad to have stayed in Fuji Matsuzono Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 3 and there was a small table with 2 chairs that allowed us to sit around to have some late night snacks and drinks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When I approached them at 1am for an additional pillow, they immediately attended to the request. The bath area for the onsen was clean and spacious. The amenities provided were also good quality. There is also a great selection of food during breakfast. Most importantly, room was facing Mt Fuji and we managed to get a nice morning view of Mt Fuji when we woke up. The view was spectaculars and there is a nice courtyard that one can take nice photos with Mt fuji in the background. The hotel is also located in a very convenience location. Once you exit the hotel, you will see Lake Yamanakako and there were many eateries nearby, all within walking distance. As we drove, it was also convenience that Lawson and 7-11 is less than 5 min drive away. Will definitely visit again.

Manor House

At the end of April 2023, we, who are concerned with the guest rooms with open-air baths, made a reservation at Kuizu 々 for this pension, which is guided at a low price. Moreover, I was even more interested in the fact that there was also a soba soba that cried at night, which seems to be developed by a major resort hotel. However, the weather forecast for the reservation day is rainy despite the sunny days before and after. I was at a loss, but I couldn't bother you, so I visited as scheduled. Suddenly, I was lucky to encounter a wild deer 6 head with a cluster of eyes and noses from the front desk, and I was not too scared and was able to shoot a video for a long time. And in the welcome drink corner, coffee servers, good sticks, cabbage taro, etc. are served in a basket, and several kinds of ice candies are prepared in the freezer. An irresistible service for families with children. Although it is a little old beside it, the massage chair 2 table is prepared and adults are satisfied. There are 3 private baths, and I'm glad that there is room for the number of guest rooms, so I don't have to wait. Even if you enter with two people, it feels good with the size of the room. The guest room with an open-air bath is in the annex, and it is difficult to change the footwear twice and pass through the crossing without the roof, but this time it is raining. But if the weather is nice, there is a swing that shines on the way, so you can enjoy it. The front and entrance to the annex have a profound door with a width of 6 shaku, triangular windows, and elaborate design. There is also a new massage chair in the annex, which is relaxed. You can call the room phone before dinner and breakfast. Fresh salad, good meat dishes with good baked and seasoned, cut cake desserts, very delicious and delicious, and Mt. Fuji cider is also recommended. And the night crying soba of the expectation is not only soba, but also soba, ramen, self service that warms by oneself, common soup is very delicious, and it is changed. In the morning when I slept well in the hot springs, it was cloudy, but some cherry blossoms echoed a pleasant cry. We had a delicious breakfast of freshly baked bread and it was a good excursion except the weather. I was very much taken care of. This is a highly recommended pension where you can experience original service. Next time, I want to go to a good weather overlooking Mt. Fuji.

Just opposite Asahigaoka Station, there are highway buses and bus stops, so transportation is convenient; A traditional Japanese-style room with your own floor, a refrigerator and a kettle, and breakfast bought at 7-11 can also be heated in the lobby microwave; There is free coffee in the lobby, and you can take a look at various promotional travel brochures; There is a bicycle rental shop opposite the post office, which I didn’t find out until before I left; buses basically run every hour, so you need to plan in advance; The air conditioning is powerful. It’s very hot in the mountains during the day but cools down in the evening; There are many delicious food nearby, including Japanese-style Fujiwara, set meals such as Sanenen Paradise, and an Italian restaurant 2km away; The service is very friendly and you can communicate in simple English; there are also public baths and hot springs. Overall very satisfied.
