Very Good
YYuyijintianyekaixinlemaI highly recommend this hotel!
Location: It's a 10-minute walk to the town center and a 5-minute walk to the lake. There's a direct bus from the airport that stops right at the hotel's doorstep, and the bus to the airport is on the same side of the street, which is super convenient!
Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent, and the bedding is made up daily. All the kitchenware is provided, so it's easy to cook meals.
Ambiance: The environment is absolutely stunning! You can see the lake from the room, even when the weather isn't great.
The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but Queenstown is a popular tourist destination, and everything is expensive during peak season, so I still think it offers pretty good value for money.
GGuest UserVery good a hotel apartment, very warm design, perfect facilities, neat and clean, just like your own home. Enjoying the sun on the balcony and drinking a glass of beer is life. The weather in Wanaka is too good. The hotel service is very nice and responds to requests. Also the washing machine comes with disposable detergent, too courteous. The bed was also very comfortable, the shower water was large enough to shower and shampoo very comfortable. Hope to have the chance to stay again next time.
GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel apartment for three nights during our South Island road trip in Queenstown. The two-bedroom, two-living room lake-view apartment (with two separate bathrooms) was excellent! Make sure to choose a unit on the 4th or 5th floor, as the 3rd floor's lake view might be partially obstructed by other buildings. The kitchen is fully equipped (though you'll need to bring your own seasonings). On the evening of April 18th, we were able to see both the aurora and the Milky Way right from our room's balcony – no need to go out and brave the cold, which was absolutely amazing and so worth it! The hotel parking was also very convenient; we paid 45 NZD for three days. However, it might be inconvenient if you don't have a car, as the hotel is located in a lower area off the main road, and the front desk is a bit of a walk from the other two apartment buildings. It's about 2.5 kilometers from Queenstown center.
TTommy_dejoReally nice looking room and a very good price performance ratio. And you even get a complimentary drink. Room was nice and warm upon arrival. I didnt really understand the self checkin for a second, cause i didnt know the rooms were directly at the parkinglot, where the whiteboards and the name are written. Really easy and useful for a fast checkin and checkout. I would stay there again.
AamyuqlI checked in at 3:30 PM only to be given a dirty room, which was very disappointing. I immediately went to the front desk to report it, and they asked me to wait. I then asked if an upgrade was possible because the room felt very cramped, and the window only offered a view of the resort grounds, not the sea. It was room 213B, and all 'B' rooms apparently don't have sea views. You definitely need to pick an 'A' room for a good view. A little later, the front desk told me there were no rooms available and still asked me to wait. After another short wait, they said I could switch to room 201B. Upon opening the door, it was much better – it had a side window and even a partial sea view!
5586489797This one was selected carefully. The location is not a particularly central place in Queenstown, so it is very quiet and beautiful. Although it is cloudy, you can also see the snowy mountains.
The room is large, the layout is very warm, and there is a fireplace. I will definitely stay again next time I go to Queenstown.
GGuest UserParking was convenient, and it's not far from town or the attractions. The room was great with new facilities. The only issue was the lack of an elevator, which made carrying luggage upstairs a bit difficult. Overall, it offers great value for money.
AAnonymous UserI was very satisfied with the hotel. It's about a 15-minute walk from the airport, and there's a New World supermarket on the way where you can buy groceries and cook. The hotel provides all cooking utensils, including pots, pans, an oven, and a microwave. The free washer and dryer were a great bonus, and the room was very spacious – a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, bathroom, and balcony. Everything was perfect, except for some construction noise starting around 8 AM from next door.
VVivienneI am not happy with the type of beds in the apar**ent. The booking clearly stated that it was one king size with 2 single beds but I found out the apar**ent arranged 2 double beds instead. The next day I called the front desk and he told me because I didn’t requested for 2 single beds so 2 double beds were arranged. When I checked out I showed my booking photos to the staff and he told me I sent an email to them and specifically requested to have a double bed instead of 2 singles. I have never requested for that and I was very upset with these responses. Could trip.com investigate what has been gone wrong in my booking? Thank you.
MMichael V.We were in the“Seabreaze“ apt, which was very clean and had the exact great views over the beach as described. The bed was comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our breakfast. While it was cold outside, the heating inside kept us warm and cozy. Parking in the garage underneath, or right beside the building for a larger car. Important to mention the Italian restaurant just 100m away at the corner, which is our absolute favourite when coming to Dunedin! We highly recommend staying at the Esplanade Apartments and will book again in the future.
