The hotel is new and clean. Beds are comfortable with extra pillows. Wifi is strong. Location is fantastic, close to main road downtown with many restaurants and shops. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Specially want to mention Luciana who had helped us in booking round trip to glaciers and transfer to airport. Only may be breakfast can have better variety like fried eggs.

Very welcoming front desk guy, enthusiastically guiding us to buy tickets for Glacier Park online (in Spanish it is a bit difficult indeed), saving us the queue time when driving into the park. Despite the power outage on the second night of the stay, it was quickly restored in about half an hour. Enjoying the lake green Argentine lake flowing down from the glacier national park and the sky in circles of strong winds in front of the window, it seems to be back to the Antarctic eight years ago...

The Design Suite Hotel is exactly what it is called. It is a very design and very beautiful hotel. It should be the best view hotel in Calafate to see the Lake of Argentina. Each room has a whole window overlooking the lake. While slowly admiring the beautiful lake view, snow peaks, blue sky and white clouds. The restaurant is very beautiful, the breakfast is rich, the taste is good, the service is very warm, and the English is very good. It is very intimate that you can order a lunch set on the glacier hike, and there are oversized sandwiches, apples, water, chocolate pie, and energy bars, which are very worthwhile. Walk along the lake to the town center in about half an hour, and also pass through the wetland park. There are buses to and from the airport to pick up and drop off, following the bus is equivalent to a day trip to the town! All in all, very good value for money.

Clean and modern. Friendly staff and service. The only downside is the breakfast, upgrades on what's offered is needed.

We stayed here for two nights and felt that we should stay a few more days. The hotel is only an 8-minute walk from the Bus Terminal. If you don't rent a car and need to take a bus to Perito Moreno Glacier, El Chalten, Puerto Natales, etc., it is very convenient to live here, which is why I chose this hotel. It is a bit far from the city center. The front desk was very helpful in providing information. The hotel facilities are good, especially the hotel restaurant. The dinner is reasonably priced and tastes great, comparable to several famous restaurants in the center of El Calafate. El Calafate is a quiet and beautiful town. The hotel is located on the hill of Calafate, overlooking the entire town. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and it is less than ten minutes' walk from the main street.

The room was extremely small and the bed was so small that two people could hardly turn around. It was definitely not a four-star hotel, but three stars at most. The breakfast was not good - the bread should be frozen.
