PPrezes TravelTime seems to have stood still in this hotel. The style is reminiscent of 80s classic nouveau. It's generally clean, but lacks some extra amenities like a razor, for example. A pleasant surprise was finding a hairdryer and a fridge in the room. I read a lot about this room, but I guess I got a really good one.
Also, breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM – a basic English breakfast (good food by local standards) and drinks (juices, tea, coffee). The cost of breakfast is 5 euros.
RRuru少女日記The room is spacious and large, with a balcony! Overall very comfortable 😌
The counter staff is kind and friendly ~ there is no language problem in communication!
Breakfast is served on a high floor. The dishes are quite diverse and delicious.
MM.N.ButtLovely little hotel tucked up a cobbled street, just off Kalavasos village centre piazza. Possibly a converted old residence, lots of character.
My trip required me to be near this village to easily visit friends residing there, and I just required a comfortable bed and clean bathroom as would be out during daytime.
This small hotel met my requirements.
Modern fully equipped bathroom, with rainshower, and large tub too ( jacuzzi function wasn't working). Towels changed daily.
Large comfortable bed with clean sheets.
Stocked minibar.
Free drinking water not provided.
Room furniture was a bit rustic but in usable condition.
Room corners etc could be cleaned a bit more carefully.
Breakfast buffet was included in my room rate and was minimal but sufficient, unless you're a heavy eater.
Overall, if I ever revisit Kalavasos, I may pick this place again, as it met my needs plus manager and staff were quite pleasant.
Thank you!
GGuest UserExcellent, modern hotel.
Good pools, good beach (a strip of stone on entry, but sandy bottom further on). Nice seaside walk running for miles to Larnaca.
A room a bit small but functional. Breakfast tasty and good quality.
We had a room with a sea view and it was a good choice. Other rooms may have a building site view ;-)
Negatives:
Mosquitos !!! There are mosquitos, even in November and we were punished for desire to sleep with open window listening to the sea.
Hotel should research for any small water deposits (building site?) and use some chemicals to rid off mosquitos.
The key card stopped working at 11.30 am - the reception explained that it was OK as in just 30 min at 12.00 is the check-out time. My wife was inside otherwise I would need to run 100 meters to reception to get my bags to the car.
No taverna or restaurant in walking distance. The neighbourhood pretty rough and not attractive.
GGuest UserA gorgeous beach and a gentle sea. What more could you want? The location is 5+. Everything else is just unimportant, like everyone else's. For a seaside getaway, you can't beat it.
OoaccessVery good location, just minutes walk to Makenzy beach, salt lake and Larnaca promenade. We had two room suite for the family, it vas very nice and cozy though small.
AASLAMWASIMGreat stay at this family-run hotel!
The staff were really friendly, especially the smiling lady at the front desk. My room was nice - modern, spacious, with a good balcony. The bed was comfy and everything was clean.
Food was a highlight. Breakfast had lots of choices. Lunch and dinner were amazing - the chef is really talented. I enjoyed every meal.
The hotel has a long family history, which gives it a special feel. It's not like a big chain hotel at all.
Only small issue: could use more hooks for clothes in the room and bathroom.
Overall, I had a great time. The mix of friendly service, good food, and nice rooms made for a great stay. I'd definitely recommend it to others.
许许This hotel is very close to the city center, the rooms are the right size, there is a swimming pool on the roof and you can see the sea. Breakfast is average, but can be eaten with freshly squeezed orange juice. It is also very close to the beach from the hotel. Just go through a McDonald's.
BBig Bull NelsonVery good location for sightseeing and walking on the beach. Hotel was clean, and my bedding smelled clean, the breakfast buffet was modest, but hearty. The staff was friendly. The ceiling downstairs in lobby and breakfast area is a little bit low for tall people. My room had a smell of sewer odor from the bathroom, so I kept the door closed. The key for the room took a little bit jiggling to get it to turn the power on, and the WiFi was not the always reliable. There was no instructions for the safe. I enjoyed my stay and would do so again.
