The hotel room layout was a bit impractical; there wasn't enough space to open two suitcases. The 26m² room I had in Kanazawa felt much larger than this 23m² one. However, the facilities were decent. It was inconvenient that toiletries had to be picked up downstairs. They sent an email about environmental concerns the day before arrival, but I'd been traveling for days and didn't see it. I suggest sending it earlier.

The room's cleanliness didn't live up to Hilton's standards. There was sticky, unidentifiable gunk on the bedsheets, and the towels left small white lint on my body after use. Everything else was acceptable, but the cleanliness was far from ideal. The location, however, was excellent, right outside the train station.

About 8 mins walk from Toyama Station, which is close enough if you don’t have too much luggage. But in the full summer heat it can be quite difficult. The hotel is slightly dated but very clean. Laundry and dryer are on the 5th floor. You need your own laundry detergent. Lawson conbini is right across the road so it is easy to get snacks and essentials. Room is clean and sized well for what you pay for.

The room was well-equipped and spotlessly clean, offering a pleasant and peaceful environment along with excellent service.

Nice Japanese breakfast. Strategic location to get around Gokayama and Shirakawa. In front of the hotel is the biggest Gassho style house in Japan that has a long history of being owned by samurais and where the emporia family had visited many times and is considered a cultural heritage of Japan.. I would go back to this hotel because of its location.

The day before I got on the Kurobe Canyon Trolley train, I used it for consecutive nights on the day. Very cozy and nice inn. The bath was also slow, and the dog who welcomed me was very cute and healed. I'm completely tired. I will repeat it when I come to Toyama again.

The smell of tatami mats was very good (^^) It was a spacious and beautiful room that was too large to stay alone.
