WWe chose this hotel for a quiet, relaxing stay and were impressed by its location in an upscale neighbourhood surrounded by lovely cafes and restaurants. Transport was easy—with the GTX-A line nearby, you’re in Seoul before you know it. The hotel itself was clean and well maintained, with several great dining options on-site.
Unfortunately, the experience was affected by a significant issue. The air-conditioning didn’t work throughout our stay, and despite informing the front desk, we were advised to open the windows instead. With the low air quality, this quickly led to sinus congestion and hay fever for our family—definitely not ideal before a flight. On top of that, nearby construction made it hard to rest with the windows open, and our request for a room change was declined.
Had this issue been handled better, it would have been a perfect stay. The location and amenities are excellent, but customer service and maintenance need improvement.
Everything was good. It was a smoking room, so of course it was. I don't know if it was the air conditioning, but when I woke up, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. It gave me a headache.
The hotel is located in a suburb, and the neighborhood is quite quiet. It should be a new hotel with very new facilities. It focuses on parent-child activities, and can also host banquets and weddings. It feels like it is really a small resort. However, the English at the front desk of the hotel is relatively average, and one of the two staff members on the day of check-in was quite unfriendly, which is a pity.
It's pretty good and very convenient. There's a CU convenience store on the first floor, and I went there almost every night to buy a bunch of snacks. It's really friendly for business travelers; it's super easy to grab something to eat and drink after finishing work!
This hotel is incredibly comfortable, and the front desk staff are always so cheerful. The room layout is very tidy, and the bathroom and toilet are exceptionally clean. I was able to enjoy a relaxing hot bath there. Honestly, it felt just like being at home. It completely washed away any unpleasant experiences I had at other hotels in Seoul. A special thanks to the male staff member named Han at the front desk, who also helped me send a package. In summary: a first-class hotel with top-notch, warm service. I also think the air conditioning system in the room was by far the best I encountered during my two-week trip in Korea; it maintained a perfectly consistent temperature, unlike some places where it fluctuated, and the room never felt stuffy. Just a small suggestion: it would be even better if they could provide slippers or bathrobes for children.
The room is smaller than I thought. The TV is quite big. Valet parking was convenient. The bathroom and room light switches are not separate, so when you go to the bathroom, the room light turns on as well. The breakfast Han River Ramen is pretty good.
This is our second time staying at this hotel and it seems that a couple of things have slipped since last year when we last visited. Firstly, the bathroom has a very strong smell of mold - which gets worse after you shower. I couldn’t see mold visible, but I suspect it is coming from the drainage. The smell is strong enough for a non sensitive person to notice it. There is also a strange smell in elevators, but I suspect it is related to people using the elevator to go to and from the pool. The breakfast seems to have gotten worse in terms of offerings from last year, but the staff are pleasant and helpful. The pool is great and well managed.

I wanted to relax quietly with a forest view and use the pool, so I made a reservation for a weekday. I even made full use of the sauna and had a great rest!
It was a weekday during the vacation season, just after school started, so it wasn't crowded, which was nice. However, because it was a weekday, they were doing lawn maintenance from the morning, so I had to finish my plan to relax on the terrace before checking out in a hurry. ㅠ
I'd definitely return, but it's definitely inconvenient without a car. In my case, I had a hard time catching a taxi during checkout. ㅠ
Perhaps because it was a weekday and there were a lot of business and training visitors, there seemed to be a lot of foreign visitors. When I checked out, a bunch of foreign male service staff members, dressed in uniforms and having just finished their meal, swarmed over to the lobby table. I waited for a taxi nearby, but was a bit surprised and quickly left. Those were some of the few things I was disappointed with, but overall, I was satisfied with the facilities. If you look for reviews that say there are not enough outlets, it is not that there are not enough, so it was comfortable, and the service is good, such as an ice water purifier, amenities, swimming pool or sauna, health and fitness facilities, rental items, and an entertainment pub!
I was expected to have a nice stay at Marriott, however the reception person made me very disappointed to Marriott during the check in process.
Luckily, when I check out, the lady who was asking me ”if there's anything she can help?” It was just a regular Q&A section to her, but for me, she helped me to book the bus ticket to ICN and saved/helped me to had a nice day -- She was perfect to earn 100% points!
that's why I gave 3 points to Marriott while her colleague was not, this is balanced score...
However, what I felt on the first day arrival was horrible. Marriott, you need to think about your service attitude and the reason why you're Marriott?

YYannisyinPretty good! My client recommended it, and it was really convenient. I'll definitely choose it again for my next business trip. The price is also very reasonable.
Facilities: Good
Cleanliness: Good
Environment: Good
Service: Good
I travel often for work, and I'll definitely be staying here again.
GGuest UserUnless you speak Korean or English, do not stay at this hotel. The service is terrible, and communication is impossible, let alone a good experience. I'm just glad I made it out alive.

LLynneI was here for only one night, but enjoyed the stay very much! I had a good rest. There was someone who spoke English, and the service was very good. I loved being able to see a few more episodes of 'Foundation' there. The location is not so good for someone relying on bus services. If you have a car, though, the location is great. The room was also nice and big enough, with good towels and all the amenities. I recommend this hotel to people with cars, who are by far the majority of travelers.
매매일 밤 네게 날아가This was my first trip to Suwon to cheer on a soccer away game. I don't have any photos of the accommodation, but the room was clean and the staff at the counter were friendly, so I had a good stay. However, the parking lot is not large, so some people may feel uncomfortable because they share the parking lot of a hospital near the hotel. Overall, I am satisfied~
賈賈皓鈞Although it's a new hotel, the facilities are old. The air conditioning doesn't cool down. I can't find how to connect to the WiFi. The counter is almost always empty. Everything in the room is written in Korean. The self-service check-in machine is also in Korean. It's not very foreigner-friendly. The only good thing is the good location. Overall, I don't recommend it.
