I stayed for one night to go to the cave Christmas market.
The back part of the church was just renovated and it was beautiful and clean.
It is within walking distance from the station and from the city center.
Breakfast was simple but delicious, open and light at night I used the bar, but the staff were professional and comfortable.
I will use it if I have a chance to go again.
Beautiful exterior, but the interior feels very dated. The whole place would benefit greatly from some investment. Economy rooms resemble dorms: creaky floors (charming at first, but disruptive at night with people using the shared toilets), sagging mattresses, a broken bedside light, only one chair, no decorations, and no ceiling light. I realize we booked an economy room, but this felt extremely basic. On the first night, a party went on until 1:30 am. Guests should be informed in advance, and events shouldn’t run so late if the property also functions as accommodation. It’s also a shame that tours of the abbey come at an extra fee; this could easily be included for guests. Overall, the place feels more focused on making money than investing in guest experience. Lots of potential, but currently disappointing.
Not bad. The style is like “ The Student Hotel”, neat, modern and tidy. Walking distance to city center, cave and Thermae 2000.
I brought my own extra blanket as I m sensitive to coldness.
It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the outlet and parking is easy.
The staff are friendly and the breakfast, although not very varied, is not bad.
There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, and you can conveniently use the outlets.
Good place to use
It was a large apartment with a great bed and kitchen
The living room was unfortunately not comfortable with 5 unsatisfactory old seats.
The apartment really wants a renovation.
The reception was very friendly, however.
What a nice stay. We had booked for 2 nights. You can make use of 3 whole days wellness! Fantastic hotel and very friendly staff. City of Valkenburg at stoneworld distance, ideal! We will surely come back!
Good hotel rooms. Nice bed to sleep, for 2 people it looked pretty. We had a spacious room.
Nice bath with the bathroom. Breakfast was extensive and a nice dinner. To the Centre 15 min walk. Animal garden 15 min walk. Mondo verde 20 min bike. Beautiful bike/loop environment. We stayed 4 days
The Hotel Walram is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Hotel Walram is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Valkenburg. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Valkenburg located approximately 900m away and Maastricht Aachen Airport roughly 17km away. Great
GGuest UserThe best youth hostel for many years of traveling abroad, clean, comfortable, quiet, beautiful environment, complete facilities, high-quality service, and enthusiasm. The dormitory is spacious, not oppressive at all, the beds are comfortable, practical, private, the large shelf next to the bed is very simple in design, and the bed has a small light for lighting, etc. It is a very perfect youth hostel
GGuest UserOur TV did not work. Batteries and technical service were/was not available because we checked in after 6 pm. Reported at check-out. Answer: thanks for reporting and sorry for that. However, no compensation or a cup of coffee for the inconvenience. Very disappointing. You book a room with facilities and then you want to use them. We did not make a fuss about it, it is not worth it, but it is a shame. Otherwise a great hotel!

PPalomitaThe hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. We arrived earlier than 3 o'clock but were still able to check in because the room was ready. The room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful.
ДДИTIЭЯI recently stayed at a hotel and wanted to share my thoughts. It was a pretty decent place for the price. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a good location, especially if you're visiting Maastricht University. While it may not have fancy extras, it's a solid choice if you want a budget-friendly stay without sacrificing comfort.

Good place to use
GGuest UserGood stay near Valkenberg station, but tight for early conference goers
The hotel is conveniently located near Valkenberg station. My room was nice and clean. I especially liked the leather chair – it's soft but still firm enough to sit and work for long periods, which was perfect for me.
Breakfast was good, even though the variety was somewhat limited. However, breakfast starts at 7:00 AM. Since I had a conference at MECC (about a 14-minute walk plus a 20-minute train ride), I had to rush every morning to get there on time. If you have an early start, just be aware of that.
Overall, a pleasant stay if your schedule allows a bit more flexibility in the morning.

MMohamed Sameh SolimanHotel environment was good
BUT :
1. Check in and check out timing. Four o'clock is very late for a check in. Global standard allows checking In as from 13.00 hours! Eleven o'clock is very early for checking out. Again global standard sets check out at 12.00 with possible extension to 14.00 hours.
2. The room was supposed to be ” comfort plus”. I experienced no special comfort or extra comfort for that matter. Room was standard in terms of size and equipment.
3. Reception staff allowed the ”concession” of checking out at 12.00 and went to considerable length stressing that it is a gross exception!
Not the right attitude for a service organization.
JjinbabyThe natural environment of the hotel is very good, like a large garden, the room can only be said to be clean, but it is not small, and the cost performance is really high in Europe. You must drive by car, otherwise it is inconvenient to travel, and it takes ten minutes to drive from the city. Suitable for weekend vacations, stay for a day or two.
