Hotels With bar in Troms, Norway

I declare this hotel had the best breakfast of my entire Norway trip! The location is also fantastic; many day tours meet within a 5-minute walk. Plus, having a direct view of the cable car station is amazing – I could check the weather at the top of the mountain anytime! 🤭

This hotel offers beautiful views and an excellent location. You can walk straight out to the Polar Adventure for boat trips, and there are many restaurants nearby. Just around the corner, you'll find the main street, making it a fantastic choice. However, you need to book early as prices can get very high later on! My son also loved the table tennis downstairs, playing for at least an hour every evening. 😆

Overall, this was a good stay, especially for a long layover, though there are a few areas that could be improved. The bedsheets smelled and felt clean, but there were a few random speckles of black dots on two of the blankets that could be removed. It was a small detail, but noticeable enough to affect the overall impression. Rest of the hotel is clean and well-maintained. The bathroom could also benefit from more hooks or hanging space for towels and clothes. That said, we booked a room for four adults and it was pleasantly spacious. There was sufficient seating, and it comfortably accommodated two large suitcases plus three smaller ones without feeling cramped. The beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast was exceptional. There was a wide variety of options—from well-prepared hot dishes to marinated herring and smoked salmon. The selection of pastries was excellent, and beverages included Biola yogurt drinks, juices, and chocolate milk. Everything we tried was of high quality. There is also free laundry available on the 6th floor, which is a very useful perk for travelers on long journeys. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to Julia for her assistance.

Since it's the off-season here inTromsø in the summer, the cost of staying is much lower than in many other parts of Norway. So, considering the price I paid, my experience at the Dock Hotel far exceeded my expectations in every way. The facilities are among the newest, and the design is rich in textures and shows great attention to detail. The bathroom, in particular, is very spacious. Other than that, I would also say the city itself centers around this hotel because it's the first stop of the bus that goes to the airport, and my guided tour also used this hotel as the meeting point. Overall, my stay was pretty much perfect in every aspect.

If you're looking for the best spot in the city, this is it. The location is truly central and ideal. The service was good, making i feel welcome from the moment i arrived. But don't skip the breakfast—it’s worth every penny! Fresh, abundant, and delicious. Five stars well deserved for location, service, and food quality.

We had a pleasant stay at Comfort Hotel. Xpress Tromso The location was convenient and the room was comfortable. However, it’s worth noting that there is no room service during a three-day stay, and towel changes are only available for an additional charge. Overall, it was a good stay, but these policies were a little disappointing.

It felt just like coming home! ✨ This hostel is cozy and simple, and I never had to worry about food since they offer fika, dinner, and breakfast! Plus, the world's northernmost McDonald's is only a 5-minute walk away, and the harbor is right in front of the hostel, making both mornings and evenings absolutely delightful 😊

The room was perfect for what we needed. The view on the balcony of the mountain next to the stream was beautiful. The staff was very helpful as well. Laundry service on site was easy to use and a lot of little trails to takein the area. Would definitely stay here again when we return!

When I arrived, I found the view from my originally booked room was blocked by external pillars, so I discussed it with the hotel and upgraded to a better room. The hotel breakfast is considered rich and delicious for local standards. It's also conveniently located within walking distance to the city center. I would recommend this hotel if I come again or if friends visit.

The hotel's location is excellent; we could walk to all the main attractions, and there's a bus stop right downstairs. It's also very close to the city's tax refund point. The room was a bit small, but the view from the 9th floor was great. On the 10th floor, there's a sauna and a gym. The sauna is a bit hidden inside the gym, but the staff patiently showed us the way.
