I arrived after hours which was not a problem at all as they left my keycard in the locked safe outside. The hostel was in a great location and I had a lovely time walking along waterfront and exploring the Lane ways. The hostel was clean and tidy - the best I’ve ever seen for cleanliness. The receptionist was so lovely and I would highly recommend this hostel. They also had designated parking which you could purchase!

We traveled up from Waipukurau for Paige Harley and Quin Belgrove wedding. Beautiful food.

The scenery is good, there are more bugs in the room. The facilities are also basically close to the limit of needing renovation. However, it is very good to have such an supporting facility in the big countryside. The young lady at the front desk is also very good. In addition, if you want to use an outdoor heated swimming pool, it is best not to live in a single building. The area where the single house is located is too far to the pool, to drive around from outside.

I like the location and Bay of Island is beautiful. Admiral's View Lodge is clean, quiet and offers self driving traveller's everything what one needs. Paihia's small community is nice, friendly and one can feel safe. I lost my mobile phone while I went out for dinner and found it in the next morning thanks to the lost and found board in the community.

I didn't look carefully when I booked it. In fact, it was the nature of b&b living in someone's home. I dreamed of returning to study. Paul is very enthusiastic and will send a lot of practical dry goods messages regularly before check-in. The room layout is very warm and the kitchen equipment is all available. Very good night.

I stayed 4 nights at Centabay and overall it was ok- it is in a central location in Paihia close to the wharf. the structure needs more renovations but they do their best to keep it clean with the volunteers cleaning every day.

Small friendly motel. Room good size, big kitchen area. Bathroom dated but clean and working.
Thin walls and we had loud neighbours but all quiet overnight. Comfy bed. Beach across the road. Lovely to swim there.

GGuest UserLocation is excellent. Our room #302 was on the ground floor which was great but just looked at the carpark . The plus was our car was parked right outside. The downside was - our room adjoined the stairs up to the dining room and was directly beneath the toilets for a conference room on the first floor. This meant almost constant noise of people up and down the stairs and slamming doors in the toilets day and night. The room had 2 beds - Queen and single. The Queen bed was very comfortable but the chairs were not - 2 hard chairs! Not a plate or a bowl to put any food on and had to request a bottle/can opener from the front desk. The bathroom was adequate with everything necessary.

It was a good price for good accommodation, within walking distance from the beach, restaurants etc. Small things could have earned a full 5 star rating such as extra pillows as ours were a bit flat, having more toilet paper as 3 rolls single ply for 4 people on a 5 day trip didn’t cut it, but overall a good experience. The laundry was a bit dated so we ended up using the laundromat down the road, and we had no idea where the gym or restaurant was which would have been nice to have been informed of when we checked in.

MMyrkStyrStayed for 2 nights with wife and 8 year old son. The staff was super kind and welcoming. Our suite had amazing wraparound views of the bay. Parking spot was free and right next to our suite. WiFi was a bit spotty. Comfy bed. Walk to the beach was 10 min. Wonderful cafe in 2-3 min walk. The town was beautiful as well. Short drive north to the hot water beach was fun. I really liked this place. We made sure to clean up and do our dishes as note said extra fee if you left dirty dishes. Would highly recommend.

We had a fantastic two-night stay at the Bay of Islands Lodge in Paihia. The location is perfect, close to the waterfront and attractions. The service was outstanding, with the owner providing excellent tips on restaurants, food shops, and places to visit.
The lodge was spotlessly clean, and the amenities were great, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paihia!

JJanya TLove convenience location but when you booked in app you will got old Building. Like a small kitchen in the room. Tiny Dishwasher was surprised me. Smart tv box is excellent for my Entertainment. Only problem was hot water temperature when showering. It's hard to control stable warm. Too hot and too cold. The towels supposed to change after second day stay that notice in the bathroom but it changed on fourth day of six days.

Stones throw from the beach.Thus was our second time staying really enjoyed and had a really good night's sleep.lovely touch they give you a bottle of milk on arrival 😀

Too many emails (I think 9 in total) re the stay. When on holiday I don't want 9 extra emails!.
Staff great, rooms really good and quiet considering the location.
It would be good to get all the Sky TV channels for the amount charged. I.e it was missing Channel 7,17,21 etc.
