For the price, it's an okay hotel. The downsides were that my budget room didn't have a window, it smelled musty, and one night a cockroach crawled on me. Yeah, that wasn't pleasant! :) The breakfasts were boring and repetitive, but then again, the price makes up for it. The hotel is generally run down, but the management is trying, so there's no major negativity.

Overall a very good experience compared to other hotels within Sylhet. Apart from few cracks on the wall , shower cleanliness and initial bad odour at the room , I thought it was a very pleasant experience. Staffs were very professional and helpful. Lots of amenities available within the hotel for example spa , pool , live music , badminton court etc. Breakfast had various cuisine option , however milk tea was a total flop due to being so strong and very dark in color. I noticed that even if you’re not staying at the hotel, you’re more than welcome to come and check out their amenities. Don’t worry, it’s not a security issue at all as very low number of people who come in without staying, and hotel always complete security checks at the gate before anyone enters the facility. If I ever find myself in Sylhet again, I’m definitely staying at Grand Sylhet.

Overall a good experience but one thing to keep in mind their rooms aren’t soundproof. As a result a lot of horn noises come insede the room alltime, in daytime it’s ok but at night it’s really annoying. The stuffs are really friendly and caring. Safety is also really good side here. I would recommend them to make their room soundproof for a 5 out of 5 experience!

This is probably the best hotel to stay at in the city of Sylhet! Location is right in the city center and rooms were modern for a comfortable stay. The bellman were also super kind, often hailing me down CNGs to take me around the city, so special shoutout to them for that.

It’s a nice nifty hotel. Pretty well kept and a decent location, quiet area, while being in the heart of the town. Overall a really solid selection. However, really couldn’t differentiate between between a “honeymoon” suit vs regular in terms of how rooms are setup or special amenities being offered.

GGuest UserExtremely mediocre breakfast. Staff begrudgingly provide you with service whenever you need anything. Located in the central city, it is conveniently situated. However, do not recommend this hotel if you are a cleaning freak like me.
