AAlfreda YThis hotel was definitely out of our expectations. New and modern. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Airport drop off and pick up service is available 24/7. Literally just come to the reception and staff will arrange transportation immediately. No need to make any reservations. Hotel room was big and clean. Modern design with technology. All the amenities were well equipped. Comfortable bed to rest after your long journey and to get prepared for next day flight. Big big thumb up.

GGuest UserThe hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a lobby that truly captures the local essence and boasts a fantastic design. After checking in, I honestly just wanted to stay in and not even go out! Riri at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful. Since I arrived on an early flight before check-in time, she upgraded my room so I could settle in smoothly. A butler delivered my luggage to the room and even asked if the temperature was comfortable and if I needed the oxygen machine turned on! The room was very cozy. After resting for a bit, I went out to explore, and later at 9 PM, I watched the Potala Palace and the sunset from the Tubo Bar on the 6th floor. When I returned, fresh fruit and yogurt were already waiting on the table! I couldn't stay longer as I was heading to Ngari, but I'll definitely be back to stay here for a couple more days!

LLuyiweipangFirst off, the view from this room directly faces the Potala Palace, which is fantastic for photos. This is also why this room type is more expensive than others. The view is priceless, especially when it's the Potala! The night view is even more beautiful! You can just lie in your room and enjoy the scenery! The restaurant's view isn't as good as the room's for taking pictures. Secondly, I don't think the room's cleanliness is 5-star. When I entered, there was a puddle of water in the sofa area that the staff didn't immediately clean up. I wiped it myself with tissues. I believe that when choosing this room type, I pay close attention to details. So why did I give it 5 stars? The hotel offered a complimentary breakfast, and they were responsive on WeChat. Honestly, the details were quite problematic. For example, the welcome note mentioned postcards, but there weren't any initially. They were brought later, but without a pen. While they did fulfill my requests, in the service industry, details should be anticipated before the guest even asks. Finally, regarding the facilities, I could smell residual renovation odors in the room. There seems to be an issue with the drainage in the shower, as water overflowed into the vanity area. Overall, I'm satisfied, especially for younger travelers.

GGuest UserThe room is so big Clean and hygienic The front desk service is very polite There are souvenirs available for purchase in the lobby. The price is reasonable and cheaper than at the airport. It's just a bit far from Baguo Street. You have to take a taxi. Everything else is satisfactory.

XXiyoujiejieaStaying at this hotel in Lhasa, I really want to recommend it to all my girlfriends! The location is absolutely amazing, super close to Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Street, all within walking distance ✨. It used to be the old Nepalese Consulate, so it naturally has a 400-year historical vibe. The courtyard is perfect for taking photos in ******* outfits! They offer a free ******* outfit experience + 10 free travel photos, and you can even get a direct view of the Potala Palace from the third-floor terrace! The rooms come standard with an oxygen generator and humidifier. The little basket by the bed even has face masks and makeup remover wipes – a dream come true for anyone who loves attention to detail 🥹. Upon check-in, they present you with a Hada (a traditional ******* silk scarf) and serve sweet tea. You can also experience tsampa making for free, making the check-in experience absolutely fantastic!

GGuest UserI stayed at this hotel from June 5-7 2026. The official check in time is listed at 2 pm. They did not give me access to my room until after 4 pm. Furthermore, laundry is listed as included service and they said their facility was not working and had to send it somewhere else. They charged me a hefty fee. I believe it’s a misnomer for this hotel to call themselves “international” This hotel really only caters to Chinese speaking populations, which is fine and the typical situation in Lhasa, but to be more accurate, the hotel shouldn’t make the claim “international.” That would typically imply better more comprehensive services for people outside of one population and nationality. This hotel is listed as 5 stars in Lhasa. I have traveled to many countries and stayed in many 5 star hotels. According to my experience, this hotel doesn’t measure up to a 5 star standard. Perhaps it did in the past. 5 star hotels typically have much better restaurants and dining options. The room was clean and I had a nice view.

GGuest UserChoosing this hotel for my trip to Lhasa was absolutely the right decision; the overall experience was excellent from start to finish. I really must share this with anyone planning a visit to Lhasa. The hotel's location is truly exceptional, right in the heart of the city center. You can walk to Barkhor Street in just a few minutes. A short walk to the left takes you to the Potala Palace, and to the right, you'll quickly reach Jokhang Temple. It's incredibly convenient whether you want to go for morning prayers or explore during the day. Downstairs, there's a supermarket and authentic ******* restaurants, so you don't have to go far for snacks, local specialties, or a quick meal. You won't need to stress about planning your routes, which is perfect for first-time visitors to Lhasa. The hotel's overall ambiance is quiet and elegant, with a strong, minimalist ******* aesthetic. There's no noise or commotion. The guest rooms have excellent natural light and ventilation, and come equipped with 24-hour oxygen supply. After a long journey to a high-altitude area, staying here meant no discomfort from oxygen deprivation, and I slept exceptionally well. What surprised me most was the attention to cleanliness: the room was spotless, with no dust on the floor or windowsills, and the bedding was neat and soft. The bathroom, vanity, and shower area were dry and odor-free, and the towels and toiletries were neatly arranged. Even the nooks and crannies were perfectly cleaned. It's clear the cleaning staff put a lot of effort in, making the stay incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. Check-in and check-out were efficient and quick. They proactively offered helpful tips on local attractions and注意事项 (things to note) for pilgrimages. Any requests during my stay were responded to promptly and willingly, and they patiently answered all my questions. They even offered hot water and oxygen tanks. When I checked out, they thoughtfully presented me with a local specialty souvenir. Their demeanor was gentle and sincere, with no hint of perfunctoriness. Overall, the location, living environment, hygiene, and service attitude were all impeccable. It offers excellent value for money. As it's the Year of the Horse, I wish every traveler to Lhasa a smooth journey. If I come to Lhasa again, I will definitely choose this hotel. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Lhasa!

ZZhangxiaomeilangligelangI accidentally brushed this homestay in Xiaohongshu Not far from the airport With the attitude of trying it out, I booked a big bed room for one night. After booking, there will be a housekeeper plus WeChat After the flight landed, the housekeeper will welcome you with peach blossoms and say, welcome home, very touched After arriving at the hotel, the housekeeper also prepared lunch Coffee is a good choice. The boss is also very enthusiastic Don't go to Bomi to see peach blossoms You can see it all in the hotel I will choose to live in his house next time.

HHuodezhanche119This was my third stay at Thangka, and it has noticeably declined compared to my stays in 2018 and 2023. The main reason I chose it again was its proximity to Jokhang Temple. However, this time I experienced significant and continuous noise at night. The next morning, during breakfast, I realized the noise was coming from a machine in the 4th-floor restaurant or the self-service laundry area. I promptly checked out the next day and informed the front desk. The front desk attendant was very kind and assured me that she would report it immediately. I hope Thangka improves.
