🎈Traveling to Chongqing alone with my daughter for the first time, I struggled for a long time trying to pick a hotel. So glad this blind pick didn't disappoint! 🥰 ✅ The location is a huge plus! It's very close to the Xiaoshizi Metro Station, making it super convenient to get to all the popular attractions without having to rush around with a kid. 📍 Jiefangbei and the food street are within walking distance, and you can even stroll over to Hongyadong and the Yangtze River Cableway. ‼️ The hotel has a minimalist, light-luxury vibe. The lobby looks upscale yet welcoming. 🎀 We stayed in a high-floor room with an expansive view. Watching the Yuzhong night view in the evening creates an amazing ambiance! 🔆 The room details are perfect for family travel, and the standalone bathtub is great for unwinding after a tiring day of walking. 🫧 The whole-house smart system is hassle-free to use, and the soundproofing is quite good, so the kid's afternoon nap wasn't disturbed by outside noise. Breakfast offers a rich variety, and you can even get authentic Chongqing Xiaomian noodles 🍜. ‼️ The self-service laundry room and gym are super friendly for families on long trips. Front desk responses were prompt, and the service was warm and considerate 💜. ‼️ If you're planning to visit Yuzhong District, definitely consider this place!

Choosing the right hotel really makes traveling so much easier! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even turned on the air conditioning before we arrived. The hotel is close to the scenic spots, making it very convenient for getting around. The environment is quiet and safe, with excellent facilities and plenty of toiletries. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it's definitely worth coming back to.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was great, and the view from the hotel was absolutely amazing. The room had everything we needed, and all the facilities were well provided. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. One city, one hotel choice. This hotel *is* the destination. Ahead of the bustling Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day, I traveled to a city for one particular hotel. I wanted to experience the unique charm of Chongqing's premier hotel without getting lost in the crowds of Hongyadong. From two top-tier luxury options, I ultimately chose SUNYATA Chongqing, a secluded resort hotel tucked away in a deep alley. Before check-in, the butler called me and provided the front desk number, 191320... When I arrived at the drop-off point at the agreed time, Manager Zhang, the butler, and others were already waiting for me. We completed the check-in directly in the room, which was very convenient. After a long and tiring journey, I immediately noticed the film sound system in the room. I turned on some music and enjoyed a moment of relaxation. The room offered an excellent view, directly overlooking the river. Even while soaking in the bathtub, I could see the monorail bridge across the way. For sleep, the bedside panel allowed me to close the curtains and sheer blinds. The stay included a double breakfast, served at JUST CHILL Restaurant (LG floor via elevator) from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM. Since this restaurant is street-facing and shared with general tourists, a room card was required for breakfast. However, this did not diminish the superb quality of the morning meal. The fresh shrimp sandwich was delicious, and the cold beef salad was exceptionally tasty. Afternoon tea, with a 'Far Travels in the City' theme, was served from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, also at JUST CHILL Restaurant (LG floor via elevator). It's worth noting that hotel guests could also enjoy afternoon desserts at any time in the exclusive guest area outside the Baiya Restaurant, adjacent to the hotel lobby. That evening, we received turndown service, which included a sweet glutinous rice ball soup. My favorite spot during this stay was the exclusive guest lounge, The Moss Ground (1st floor), which offered complimentary coffee, soft drinks, snacks, and book borrowing. The minibar drinks in the room were also complimentary. Check-out time was at 12:00 PM, and because my baby took a nap, they kindly extended our check-out time, which was very thoughtful and customer-friendly. When it was time to leave, I contacted Butler Xu Ying to help with our luggage. One more thing that I was particularly pleased with: the photographers from Zixuan Photography – Yancheng – were incredibly patient and took high-quality photos for us. In summary, this was a luxury resort hotel with a sophisticated aesthetic, crafted by a dedicated team. It even made me postpone my stay at another top luxury hotel in Chongqing (Li Jing) again.

STAFF APPRECIATION: I would like to thank Xiao Yang, Xiao Yi, and Master Li for their care during my stay. They were kind, professional, warm, patient, and proactive. They were also incredibly accommodating with my inability to speak more than a little Chinese. Xiao Yang even made a point to speak English with me during breakfast and checkout. Master Li was very tolerant with my last-minute requests for pickup and drop off and Xiao Yi quickly located and added me on WeChat to allow us to chat more comfortably. As it was raining, she even met me by the car with an umbrella when I arrived. I felt quite pampered! DIRECTIONS: To reach the hotel requires a few transfers. It's not too troublesome and is well worth it! 1) I arrived at the Wulong South Railway 🚉 and followed the exit signs outside. 2) To the left was the large blue bus 🚌 mentioned by another reviewer. It will take you to the Fairy Mountain Visitor Center for 16 yuan. From here you can reach the most popular tourist destinations in Wulong to include the Three Bridges. 3) Outside the center you’ll find another blue fairy bus which will take you to the mountain itself for an additional 8 yuan. This bus will stop at the gate where tickets will be checked. Be sure to contact the hotel and give them your information before you set off because the cost of this ticket is included with your stay! They will reserve the ticket for you and send you confirmation and any relevant information. Otherwise, it is 50 yuan per person. 4) This bus will drop you off at a plaza with a few shops and the boarding platform for the scenic train. 🚂 Contact the hotel and someone will come to pick you up, as private vehicles are not permitted beyond this point. REVIEW: If availability and your budget permit, I cannot emphasize strongly enough how much it is worth it to splurge on the room with a 270-degree view of the property. I went on a foggy, wet weekend and still found the view incredible. The windows cover three walls. I can only imagine how amazing the sky must look on a clear night. The minibar has a good selection of free snacks and drinks and a sampling of the local tea. Meals are also served at the hotel. The cost is not low, but for the exclusivity of the location, I considered it more than fair compared to what I’ve paid elsewhere. Also, the dishes looked and tasted great. There are also vendors down the hill where the train and shops (show in the picture below) are located. Look for the sign identifying the train exit and go down the steps. These were the only places I saw to purchase food, drinks, or supplies once you pass the entrance to the mountain, so plan accordingly. By the way, tickets for the scenic train were included with the reservation as well. I highly recommend it. It stops at the grasslands and the horse stables. Now, I will allow the pictures to speak for me. TLDR: Multiple transfers lead to a place that is secluded and picturesque and right in the heart of the mountain. That means your dining choices will also be limited, but the meals provided (at a cost) were delicious. Tickets to the mountain and scenic train are included in the price. A photo session is included as well, but I did not utilize it. I recommend setting out earlier to miss the worst of the crowds. The staff is amazing and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The room with the 270-degree view offers the best experience. 10/10 recommend for those seeking quiet and the peace only nature can bring. 🏞

The hotel service was excellent throughout, but due to the rain in Chongqing, the room felt quite damp. When I reported this, the duty manager Jackie immediately arranged a new room for me. They even had a colleague help dry out the entire new room, which was a pleasant surprise. Thank you!

First, let's talk about the pros: the service attitude was great. Now for the cons: I ended up paying for a room upgrade. 1. The quality of the bathrobe is terrible. It feels rough, unbreathable, and very uncomfortable against the skin. 2. The actual room decor looks nothing like the promotional pictures on Trip.com. It's completely false advertising. 3. Even though it's a newly built hotel from the last couple of years, the room doesn't look fresh and appears rather dated. The view is also poor—completely blocked by surrounding buildings and residential blocks, leaving only a tiny sliver of the river view. Not pleasant at all. The price is totally unjustified. For the same price—or even less—you can stay at much better hotels elsewhere. I have no idea how this place earned its 4-star rating. It's probably just because of the location—being close to Raffles City and Chaotianmen—that they’ve jacked up the prices so much. The leather sofa is also very uncomfortable to sit on. The only redeeming qualities are that the mattress and pillows are relatively soft, the soundproofing is decent, and I slept pretty well at night.

This was my first time booking a hotel in Chongqing on my own. I wanted to be near Hongyadong with river views and easy access, so I found Beichen Riverview Hotel. The price was reasonable, and I didn't have high expectations, but the room completely exceeded them! I missed the closest parking lot, so I called the front desk. The lady there told me the Cangbai Road parking lot was cheaper and even came to meet me there personally. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was high quality, and I got upgraded to a riverview king room – facing the big river felt amazing. The service attitude was excellent. It was a wonderful stay. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Great location, close to Jiefangbei and Bayi Road. The rooms are clean and comfortable, featuring a 24-hour self-service laundry room. If you want to buy souvenirs, there is an affordable and great souvenir shop in the basement diagonally across from the hotel. This will be my top choice for accommodation next time I visit Chongqing.

Our stay at Nasiting Hotel in Chongqing was extraordinary. We arrived early in the morning and our room was ready for us, the reception team was helpful and could speak a little English. The room was very spacious and curated in the details, comfortable bed, clean and with loads of amenities. They provided shaving kit and toothbrushes. The hotel is located right in the centre, so 90% of attractions are at walking distance! The hotel has also a laundry room which can be used for free. The hotel is located at the 13th floor of a big building, right in front of Minisoland. It was easy to find. Honestly, our stay was perfect and did. It want to leave this cosy hotel! Highly recommended!
