There is no toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers, so bring your own. Skiing is quite convenient, and the breakfast is delicious. But the check-in lobby is not easy to find. The navigation guide is uphill, and it is wrong to climb up and then climb down. I have to drag a board bag everywhere to find it... It's a bit tiring

The front desk was in a big house and arranged a lot of Christmas things. Just opened the door of the room, there will be a smell of wood, and then there is no, I feel that the bathroom is very clean, that is, the bath is limited to 13 minutes, there is not much hot water, so I did not wash my hair for two nights. The bacon for breakfast was delicious, the surrounding environment was very good, by the sea, and there was a small forest. I feel that Kemi is not big, there are not many people, I like it very much. There is a supermarket nearby, and then walk around, there are many restaurants on the beach. The cathedral is very stuffy. The gem museum didn't see the gem, and the square in front was a flea market.

Just checked in, a little disappointed, the room is very small. But the breakfast is very good, the service is super good, the front desk is very welcoming, and also help me verify the time of the icebreaker pick-up. This hotel is the pick-up point for the icebreaker Discovery. Just wait in the lobby at the specified time, which is very convenient. There is free parking, not far from the ice castle.

I book an Apartment for 2 nights for this stay but I got the room for 1 night each. Staff told me I have to change room tomorrow and check out at 12PM.
So that mean first night I stay and tomorrow check out 12PM and wait for a new room. Also, the apartment is very far from reception. Luckily, I have a car. Imagine if I don't have a car, I have to carry big luggage from the apartment to reception to check out and wait for new room later and move my luggage to new room again, how was it?
Moreover, when I check out at 12PM staff told me the room will ready for check in around 2 hours. Then came back to check in again for second at 3PM another staff told me the room is not ready yet and policy for the Apartment check in time is 6PM. ***!!! I said I need the room now because this is unacceptable. Then staff told me the room is ready and give me the key card.
So, for this situation I waste the time for half day to pack my luggage, move a lot of luggage to my car with a lot of snow, check out, go to reception for check out, wait the new room, wait, wait, wait, and come back to check in and got very bad answer that she told the room is not ready, and go to check in again, move my luggage to new apartment with a lot of snow, and take a rest. VERY BAD!!!!!

GGuest UserThe hotel is very convenient on traffic, with bus stop just opposite to the hotel. You can jump on the bus to Santa Claus Village and Airport at the bus stop. The room is very clean and the buffet breakfast is pretty good.

The room type is a standard twin room.
The room was clean and had a one-seater sofa, desk, refrigerator, hanger rack, etc.
The toilet and shower room had a partition in the shower room so that water did not leak out, which was good.
There were towels of various sizes.
The breakfast was also delicious and had a wide variety of options.
There was also a sauna and pool in the basement, and the pool was quite wide and the water was about 2m deep in the deepest part!
In terms of location, it is about a 30-minute walk from Rovaniemi Station, but there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel, so you can get to the hotel by bus.
You can also take this bus to Santa Claus Village.
You can see the Lumberjack's Candle Bridge when you leave the hotel, and access to Rovaniemi city is good, so the location was great.

The office that was doing various activities was very close and helpful.
The lobby is large and has kids space and microwave oven, and you can also warm and eat frozen foods.

MMarianna86I went to Äkäslompolo to run the Nuts Ylläs Pallas 37km and chose the hotel for its proximity to the starting line.
The hotel needs some renovation, but despite the bad reviews it was overall better than I expected. Staff was super helpful and friendly, the bed was extremely comfortable (a must before and after a race), the private sauna was amazing and cherry on top, breakfast was absolutely delicious and with a wide range of choice!

GGuest UserA lovely cosy place to stay, however the location really is in the sticks where transport is limited to around 3 buses to or from the city with the last bus arriving at 7pm. But the room was great and extremely warm in the minus 15 degrees temperature.
