GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay at the Astor :) the room had a funny smell, the breakfast was very uninspiring, and one could hear every noise from every corner all the time, but the room also was large and comfortable and the bathroom was good and everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful - it was a relief to stay at a place where it felt a lot like being at home. I definitely would stay again.

JJoe RossiterBooked this hotel as it was situated just off the main dual carriageway and had good road links to Cesena and Forli for trains and good links back to Florence and Pisa for the airport. The hotel is located in the heart of the town and the entrance isn’t visible from the road. It has its own carpark for €6 per night but there are lots of parking spaces around the town, white lined spaces are Free!! Blue lined space you have to pay for, so check the lines! Check in was easy and the staff were friendly and informative. The room was spacious and clean, there were two plugs one either side of the bed so being an adapter and extension cable for extra plug space, little mini bar that was reasonably priced and cupboard space with a little safe in. The swimming pool was warm and the roof opens in the summer. The attendant was knowledgeable and excited to explain that the pool is warmed by the natural springs and that smell of sulphur was from these springs and good for the skin. Pool was long enough to swim in and had bubble jets and falling water. There is also a bigger thermal spa available but we didn’t have time to make use of that. Breakfast was a good selection of cold meats and cheeses, pastries and cakes etc, no hot option though. The only negative for breakfast was, staff served all the food, this was challenging with the language barrier and meant you had to ask for anything you wanted…. Town was lovely, lots of little shops and a few restaurants and bars. Towns folk were friendly and helpful and the little market was nice for local products. Lots of walking and cycling routes in the area too

Amazing
DDandanThe hotel is conveniently located near the train station, and there's a food court right across the street. However, there's a recurring issue with a foul odor in the room. We tolerated it the first day, and when we reported it to the front desk on the second day, they took it seriously and addressed it. By the afternoon, the smell had significantly faded, and we thought the problem was resolved. But it returned at night, likely due to guests showering and wastewater impacting the drains, causing the smell to resurface. This continued for several days. It was tolerable during the day, but at night it was unpleasant. The hotel staff diligently tried to fix it, checking in with us daily. At that point, we just felt helpless and stopped reporting it. I've sometimes noticed this same smell downstairs in this building. I suspect the entire building needs its septic tank cleaned, or perhaps the city needs to clear this section of the sewage pipes.

GGuest UserLocation at appx 20 minutes to city center(easy to reach) 30 minutes ro railway station. Reception opne till 11 pm, after you can make self checkin to a machine at the entrance. Clean and modern loby and breakfast areas. Decent breakfast. The strangest room that I ever seen: all walls in wood and not in the nice way, it feels that you are in an old vessel cabin. Even the walls are “protected” by addional wood doors or are locled by wood panels. A lot of furniture, not very functional as same parts are locked. Not felt very safe in the first night. Once you stay more you get used to it. Overall, for the priced paid during New Year period or if you are on budget, is ok for what you paid.

GGuest UserThe hostel provides you with the bare necessities, such as a comfortable bed, a spacious room and locker including a lock, and a small bedlight and socket. Unfortunately, that is also literally it and nothing more. There are no curtains for the beds. The bathroom is super weirdly laid out; there is a bathroom with shower, the only toilet and a sink behind a door; then in front of that, there is another sink and a shower. WITH NO DOOR. Making this shower literally unusable. There are two light switches in the bathroom, one that turns on the light in the back bathroom (behind the door) AND a light for the front sink. This means that, if people are sleeping in the bed next to the bathroom, there is literally light shining directly on their face and all the sounds. A problem easily solved by adding a door and curtains on the beds. The bathrooms didn’t have hand soap (they were empty) or any shower amenities (no shower gel). You have to pay if you want a towel, and you also have to make your own bed. There is also a lot of noise from the neighbours, what seems like a student accommodation. At this kind of price range, the level of amenities is terribly disappointing and could be easily solved. I have stayed in hostels all over the world and sadly this one was just one of two options in Bologna, so not much choice. There are really a lot of simple improvements possible that would have made it worth it, but I really cannot say this is value for money at all.

PPratissoliThe reception staff is okay beyond the fact that the room is 90€ and if you arrive at 8 am and you need to sleep because you had a nighttime flight they will charge you 111€ extra for this price I really suggest you to sleep elsewhere, the restaurant team members are absolutely not nice there was an east European waiter that called me and my friend prostitut@s on Russian ( while talking on the phone and serving a drink in the same time commenting on the phone that she gave to serve at a prostitut@s ) and they have a really cool gym but no spa or massage The staff have to be more careful because I speak 7 languages and you never know who you have in front of you .

JJohn WickedIt is indeed a first-line sea view. It is a little far from the train station, but it is very convenient to watch the sunrise at the seaside. The room is indeed small and old, and the floor is full of scratches. The sanitary conditions are acceptable, and the breakfast is also pretty good. I want to complain about the front desk waiter. On the second day of my stay, I was already in the elevator and he chased me to ask if I had a key... It was a bit strange.

GGuest UserWe stayed here as our main hotel while travelling to other cities, and it was such a great choice. The hotel is really close to the train station, which made everything so convenient for our family. From the outside and entrance, it may not look very special at first, but once you walk inside, the atmosphere feels warm, cosy, and welcoming. The staff were all very kind and friendly, and they made us feel comfortable during our stay. The room was very clean, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent especially the shower with strong water pressure, which we really loved after a long day of travelling. The TV was big, and there was also a fridge in the room, which was very useful. Breakfast was not huge, but there was still plenty of choice and enough to enjoy a full meal every morning. Everything about this hotel felt perfect for us. We all really liked this hotel very much, and if possible, I would definitely love to stay here again in the future.
