The hotel was very clean, staff was very nice a d helpful. The restaurant food was great last and hot, waitress was very kind , clean and on point with order. Rooms were very clean and nice, my experience was great would go again.
Easy to use Trip.com app/site. Got a good rate, room was large and roomy! Bed could have been more comfortable. More pillows would have been better, too
The pool and jacuzzi area were nice. However, the jacuzzi was not hot it was more of a heated pool experience with bubbles! The slide was closed đȘ the attendant said it hasn't been on all summer! Except when the pool is closed to circulate the water. We were very disappointed!
Enjoyed my stay. Nice, clean room. Witness a guest stumble past 2 staff members with a beer in his hand. The guest eventually fell at the elevator. I informed the staff members present. ID staff informed me that he called someone but did not leave his post. A third staff member arrived as we entered the elevator. I can understand the member checking ID could not leave his post, but the other guy standing closer to elevators could have made some type of effort to assist.

Very nice finishes gave a great impression. Very clean and nice.
The only negative wes the A/C which was set at 67 and could be only on and off in my room. Neither was ideal.
The hotel rooms are quite spacious and comfortable, but compared to high-end star hotels, the facilities are average and the price/performance ratio is not bad. It is suitable for family travel!

GGuest UserThe hotel was nice convenience was great everything was within walking distance but what I didn't like was the paying for parking if I'm already staying.

VVanessa RatcliffWhen I entered the room, the undeniable smell of urine perfumed the air. I looked for the source and, while getting in bed, I found it. It was the MATTRESS!!!!! I ask to place us in another room, which was accompanied with an apology. In the other room, it smelled less urine-like. YET, I lifted the blanket and noticed 2 DIRTY, I MEAN DIRTY, SOCKS that had been there since who-knows-when!!!!! This meant that the sheets were not cleaned, either!!!! We had to leave!!! This was an emergency trip and we will NEVER go here again!!!
HHardnettThe service at the hotel was good the hotel was around all the food places to eat the room was so clean When I come back to New Orleans Iâm going to book the same hotel
GGuest UserI booked this Americas Best Value Inn & Suites @ Lake Charles I210-Exit-5. There was NOTHING that was comparing to a suite. In fact, it is more like a motel class. There were several factors that made us NOT HAPPY staying here, and will probably will not stay here in future. I am explaining why I rated this hotel/motel below its class: (a) first the hotel is on âcheapâ side. The towels provided were very limited, and there was no towel for the floor. The lighting in the room, as well as thru-out the property was annoying. Everywhere I see bright florescent day-time white light, so bright. The room has this same light from ceiling down. It was so bright, no adjustment. It's hard for a person to sleep, while the other person is awake and needs light. The room is a lacking several fundamental items for a hotel, no coffee machine. The shampoo/soap provided were some sample 1-person ones. The âbreakfastâ area was a joke. The only thing proved was coffee, that were not good at all. Yet, trip.com's reservation had me selected either room with or without breakfast. So, I booked with breakfast. But there was nothing provided. I asked the receptionist, he said, they don't have breakfast, just coffee.
The plus side was that, they provided a good size refrigerator. And they have the microwave in the 'breakfastâ area.
Although it seemed a recently built hotel, but it's just a basic motel, lacking basic necessity items in hotel room. Overall, I would not stay here again.
ZZHENG YAOThe hotel is just above the casino. There is no need to say that it is magnificent. Just eat, drink and have fun in the casino, but the traffic to go elsewhere is a problem. You have to drive by yourself.
JJINThe price of this hotel is relatively high, about 15 minutes drive from the city, but don't stay on holidays or weekends. The price of my stay on Saturday is double that of Monday (¥530 and ¥1100)
GGuest UserThe hotel is recently renovated, so everything is relatively new.
Booked a corner suite which was more expensive then regular to have more space and better view. I guess many hotel chains have the policy of giving worth rooms to guests that book through third parties like Trip.com. They gave me room on the fourth floor, so instead of nice cityview as was on the picture I got an ugly one to the construction site and parking with homeless people wondering around. See picture attached, Besides the room was supposed to be bigger than the regular one and it formally was but the layout made it useless as there is just some weird corridor which makes part of the room. So do not overpay for corner suites, it is not worth that.
Had issue with the stuff. The clock in the room was showing wrong time. Couldnât fix it myself. Called the reception, they send a guy who after 20 min couldnât do anything and just said sorry there nothing he could do. When insisted the issue to be reported to the management, the guy started calling someone telling the story with a rude language using all types of F words in presence of my 11 y.o.! Eventually the watch was fixed but the way they service clients is outrageous.
Lastly I had 12 pm check out time for my reservation but the receptionist told me it is 11 am.
MMadison Carolyn KateCheck in was easy and staff was friendly. The hotel is only a 5 min drive from the airport. They have a shuttle that goes to/from the airport every hour. You will need to call or email after booking to get the shuttle times if you plan to use it.
