We had a great stay at Balgownie. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful and spacious. We enjoyed the food and definitely recommend eating dinner here and wine tasting during your stay.

Getting here by light rail is very convenient, but the metro station is a bit of a walk, about 15 minutes away. Parking downstairs is also difficult, which can be inconvenient if you've booked a pick-up/drop-off service. The room is fully equipped with an open-plan kitchen and a washing machine, plus a small balcony with a view. My only complaint is that the toiletries were a bit lacking. They only provided a few bars of soap and shampoo. I was really expecting body wash... Since it's an apartment-style accommodation, there's no room service. You also have to take out your own trash bags to the building's rubbish chute. I felt the everyday essentials were a little too basic. The front desk staff's tone was a bit cold, almost indifferent. Perhaps that's just a Melbourne characteristic, but I still find it a bit off-putting.

👍 The Ibis Melbourne Central Hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's super convenient for transport, being so close to the central station and all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are new, the room is spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and promptly helped solve any issues. Plus, the breakfast is great!

A decent experience overall. The facilities are quite comprehensive, and the staff's service attitude is excellent. The only minor issue was that the duvet kept shifting and couldn't be kept in place. It was a nice touch to have a kettle provided. The location is superb, not far from the city center.

This was an absolute gem of a place to stay. From the moment we checked in until we collected our baggage hours after checking out, we were treated to a great place with great service. The room itself was perfect. Very clean and comfortable and the view was amazing. We even slept with the blinds up - too good to block out! Unfortunately though we were only there for a night. Next time it’ll be longer.

The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for both dining and getting around. There's a free tram service within the loop line. We stayed in a comfortable two-bedroom apartment with a living room, and it came fully equipped with a refrigerator, cabinets, stove, and dishes. The only downside was the lack of an in-room washing machine, and the communal laundry machines were often in use.

The location is fantastic, right in the CBD, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The surrounding area is lovely. The room was surprisingly spacious with two single beds and a king-size bed, and the shower area was separate. The facilities are a bit dated but perfectly functional for daily needs. Highly recommended!

Plenty of dining options nearby. The hotel environment is great and feels very safe. The staff are also incredibly enthusiastic. Downstairs, you're right in Melbourne's CBD and a 10-minute walk takes you to the Yarra River. Full marks, full marks, full marks!

I arrived at late check-in time on 2/11 Sunday and Mildua Inlander's staff was after office hour so I contacted to staff for room check-in by phone call, Staff are so helpful to help me to collect the room key and required admin work. However, due to the resort's layout and my room location(my room is ROOM 90), the circulation of the hotel is not poor, poor room ordering(it is not by 101 for on 1/F like typical hotel, it is using 1-50 for G/F, 51-100 for level 1; if 101-110 for block 1, 121-129 for block 2, 131-139 for block 3, 141-150 for block 4 would be better), no coherent corridor at the end, not much signage and map/easy to miss, no Lift or easy ramp for level 1. so, it is hard to find my room and poor experience before entry the room. Room is good for me. One thing is: can consider to have openable window after the mosquito net on the balcony sliding door if I don't want to turn on the air-conditioner.
