After half a month of traveling, this is by far the most comfortable place I've stayed. The decor has its own unique style, not like those generic hotels you see everywhere. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the lighting and little trinkets. Plus, all the amenities work perfectly and are super convenient – everything you need is there. The shower has great water pressure, the hairdryer is effective, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. It's perfect whether you're relaxing in or heading out to explore. For this price, getting all these perks is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next summer.

Breakfast is enough, not very rich, breakfast is starting at 7:30, not very friendly to people who have to catch the trip early in the morning. Zhangye isn't a large city, so staying near the West High-Speed Rail Station is convenient. It's mostly residential around here, so the environment is generally quiet. It started snowing in the morning and my pants and clothes got wet, but I was able to wash and dry them immediately after going back at noon, which was incredibly practical! Because I had a late flight, the front desk allowed me a late check-out, which was great. There's bottled water available on every floor, and plenty of seating in the lobby on the first floor, so you don't have to worry about lingering, and charging is convenient. The breakfast is decent, and considering it's around 300 yuan a night, it's quite reasonable. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hotel and highly recommend it for anyone staying in Zhangye.

Just a few minutes' walk from Dunhuang Night Market, the hotel was clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The front desk staff were all very welcoming and always had a smile on their faces. Lanzhou Airport is a high-altitude airport, and my husband was experiencing some mild altitude sickness – dizzy, no appetite, and a bit nauseous. After breakfast, I asked the restaurant staff if they had any remedies for altitude sickness. They immediately helped me inquire and then directed us to the front desk. Ms. Zhao Lina at the front desk asked about my husband's symptoms and provided some helpful solutions! With the hotel's assistance, my husband felt much better. Finally, we even received a follow-up call at the airport checking if his symptoms had eased – truly, thank you so much! The hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus was very comfortable. All the staff, from the shuttle driver to the front desk and the restaurant, were incredibly friendly. The only minor downside was that the room felt a bit stuffy.

We stayed at Home Inn Plus Zhangye West Railway Station and want to share an honest review. The hotel lists “non-smoking rooms,” but in reality this is not accurate. Guests smoke in all rooms, so even if you book a “smoke-free” room, it will still carry smoke odor. For anyone with serious health issues or strong sensitivity to smoke, this property will not be suitable. That said, the staff were outstanding. From the moment we mentioned the issue, Ms. 豆梦姣 went above and beyond to support us. She offered alternative rooms, kept checking in, and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible under the circumstances. The hotel cannot control the behavior of other guests, but they truly did everything within their power to help. In short: the building and policies make it impossible to guarantee a smoke-free stay, but the kindness and professionalism of the staff — especially Ms. 豆梦姣 — left us with a very positive impression of their hospitality.

It's also not far from Mingsha Mountain and Mogao Grottoes, and taxis are readily available whenever you step out, making it super convenient to get to attractions without having to wake up early or squeeze onto a crowded bus. The value for money for accommodation is also great. For around 300 RMB per person, you can stay in a courtyard room with two large beds, offering excellent privacy. It's really pleasant to sit in your private little courtyard and have afternoon tea. I have to praise the memory foam pillows provided; they're just the right balance of soft and firm, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of traveling – a huge plus point! The guesthouse itself has an Instagram-worthy cafe. The freshly ground coffee is excellent. There are several spots for afternoon tea, including a sandy area, a pool, and an orchard. Sipping coffee and taking photos with the cool breeze from the desert makes every shot look like a professional, atmospheric photo, instantly bringing a sense of relaxation. In the evening, there's also a stargazing platform. Far from city lights, you can look up and see a sky full of stars, instantly melting away all your travel fatigue. You don't have to worry about food either. While there aren't many restaurants within walking distance, the guesthouse can arrange customized local specialty meals. Having a BBQ or hotpot in the courtyard feels so special. If you don't feel like moving, delivery services for takeout are also very fast, perfectly satisfying any lazy traveler. Now, for a few honest minor complaints – consider these if you're particular: Since it's in a village, there aren't many shops along the street nearby, so it's not very convenient to just go out for a casual stroll, snack, or buy groceries. However, anything you need can be ordered for delivery. The temperature difference between morning and evening is significant, and it can get quite windy in the courtyard. Remember to bring a light jacket if you plan to have outdoor afternoon tea. Overall, the pros outweigh the cons. This place is perfect for those who don't like rushing from one attraction to another, prefer peace and quiet, and are looking for atmosphere, healing, and a truly relaxing and laid-back vacation.

Traveling to Zhangye with two kids, I was impressed by the service from the moment we arrived at the hotel entrance. I completely forgot about our luggage in the taxi, but the security guard at the door kindly helped me carry it all the way to our room. The room itself was clean and tidy. Honestly, I couldn't find a single fault with the service here; everyone was so welcoming and enthusiastic. After all, isn't good service and a pleasant environment what you look for in a hotel? In the evening, they even brought us snacks and treats. Because I had children, they also gave us some small toys, which was incredibly thoughtful. They even prepared foot-soaking tubs and cucumber masks for us in the evening – my kids and I were practically fighting over who got to use them! Highly recommended!

Plus, the washing machines have only two settings, which saves everyone time. In Europe, Ibis is my go-to for budget accommodation, and the Jiayuguan Ibis offers excellent value for money. It's no exaggeration to say it's just a two-minute walk from Jiayuguan Station with your luggage, and multiple bus routes start right outside the hotel. The front desk staff are all very kind and friendly. The room was new, very clean, and had a huge TV. Everything about it was excellent. On top of that, the hotel hosts meetings for large state-owned companies, and you know what that means – it's a good hotel!
