A great hotel for family holiday. The city on the coast, 3 minutes walk to the beach, excellent food, breakfast and dinner above all praise. We stayed here but went to Barcelona every day. Near the station or bus stop, from Barsa can come at night on the night bus. The room is spacious, the staff is polite, all hinted.

The room was unexpectedly clean and there was no bad taste. The whole hotel in winter may have a few rooms with guests, but it is very quiet and comfortable. The hotel restaurant can also try traditional dishes. The room didn't even have a kettle and no water. I had to go to the bar to buy it. The bar can have tea and a little wine, super beautiful at sunset There are really no shops in the town in winter, and even a meal and a bread have to be eaten at lunch and dinner time. The only advantage is that you can take any photo and you can't see one.

A short stay for of 2 days was booked with Triip.com for one adult and 2 children under 10, to join us who were booked in a day earlier for three days. Our three day booking was direct with the hotel, half board. The hotel is marked 'adults recommended' and they sure discourage children, by seeking to charge per occupancy rather than simply on a cost per room. The Trip site quite fairly offered the room at the rate for two adults, with children under 12 free, so this is what was paid. Half board was added but at the rate for two adults, which would be greater than the actual hotel rate for one adult and two children, but I was happy to have reserved restaurant secured. Things got messy at check in, the hotel insisting that the room was occupied by three 'persons' as they put it and should therefore be 50% extra, though the room was the same type as the twin we had for two adults. The Hotel also insisted that only breakfast was provided, and tried to argue that the B2B rate from the third party (Trip) was insufficient. I politely pointed out that the discounts provided to third party agents was no concern of the customer, and referred to my booking voucher which clearly stated I had booked a twin room, into which was going 1 adult, two very small children, and that breakfast and dinner was paid for, with the rate for 1 adult being greater than twice the local charge for a child. They were impossible to deal with, and I left the reception angry and upset. I contacted the Trip representative and by that evening it was sorted. Full marks to Trip, zero to the hotel. As for our stay, the hotel is excellent, but with room to improve. Dinner in the Buffet only commences at 8.00, resulting in quite the bunfight if the restaurant is busy. It was on that Thursday, a national holiday, and it was impossible to order wine and beverages after we seated, with a single service person taking orders. We ate our food dry, and finally placed an order for wine and water while eating dessert, some 40 minutes after seating. The same bottleneck occurred the next morning at breakfast, with the four snail paced Nespresso machines totally incapable of dealing with the coffee demands. Worse, all 4 machines overheated and went into 'service mode'. Worse again, these obviously unsuitable barista machines were the only source of hot water for Tea or infusions, but with no seperate hot water dispenser faucet. You had to stand for almost 2 minutes while the machine slowly dispensed through the coffee outlet, a single mug of hot water, to the frustration of the queue behind. This needs sorting, it took ages to get a breakfast beverage every morning, and on the second day I had to return 4 floors to my room and fill my cup from the in room Nespresso maker. I'd advise to bring a travel kettle with you. Otherwise, a fine hotel, but the restaurant problems and discriminatory pricing for children are an issue, so not a hotel for children.

In love with this hotel 🤍 Perfectly located in the heart of the city — everything you need is just a short walk away. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and truly welcoming. The rooms are spotless, every detail is so well taken care of, and you can really feel the quality. What made it even more special for me is the staff — incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a warm smile. A place where comfort, location, and beautiful energy come together ✨

Generally very good, they allowed me late checkout and changed my room since it was not a double bed as it was stated in the trip.com description in which it also said that there was a bathtub but there was no... The cleanliness was good, the bed was very comfortable, the location was good, perhaps the least of all was the breakfast, it lacked some selection for a 4-star hotel, everything was too simple, but the man who was in the freshly made eggs and crepes section was very friendly (Yusef), generally good. I don't know where the spa is, nor do they mention it. Therefore calling it Hotel & Spa seems a bit unnecessary to me.

The room is relatively large, the facilities are a bit old, the air conditioner cannot adjust the wind speed, and it is a bit noisy. The hotel has a good environment, the garden is large, and the swimming pool is quite satisfactory. Located in a hot spring town, it produces many brands of mineral water. The most famous is that the Vichy Catalony, Hotel belongs to the Water Factory Group. The hotel has its own chapel and can organize activities. Breakfast is not very good, there are few choices.

Hhxm.trxvxlOur best stay in Spain. The staffs were all friendly. I only managed to catch a few people’s names like Anass, Raquel, Sebastian but everyone (front desk, concierge, housekeeping, breakfast staffs) in the hotel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. For example, Sebastian offered a pair of scissors without us even asking when he saw us repacking our luggage at the lobby. Everyday we went out and returned, everyone would greet us. We truly felt the warm welcome and friendliness of the Spanish through them. Very glad to book this hotel even though the hotel may be slightly more expensive than other hotels in Barcelona. Housekeeping seems to be done twice daily too (they will leave us chocolates on our bed every evening which is extremely sweet of them). Housekeeping team also sprayed fragrance on our little pillows which we brought with us on the trip (no other hotels have done so for us into past). One more thing to add is that the showers in the hotel are full glass so it lacks privacy. We did not know this beforehand but only upon our check in. Anass and team assisted us the next day to stick privacy film to make us more comfortable. A pity is that the Michelin starred restaurant located in the hotel is closed from Sunday to Tuesday, so we could not get to try it. The breakfast is the same every morning too but it was alright. We would definitely return to the hotel if we are in Barcelona again. Gracias Team Ohla Barcelona! 100/100

GGuest UserIt was a very clean accommodation and plenty of towels were provided. It was a little inconvenient because laundry was done in a shared facility on the 5th floor, and I was a little disappointed that they assigned me a room with a rear view without even asking how many rooms had a view of the Sagrada. There is a rest area and a pool on the rooftop, so it would be nice when the weather is nice. The location is far from major tourist attractions, so it's a bit inconvenient to take the subway every day, so if I had to do it again, I think I'd pick it near Plaza Catalunya.

AAndrea_tutiangeThe room was exactly as shown on the booking page. What you see is what you get. Toiletries and disposable slippers were also provided. We arrived late on our first day and didn't have time to buy water, so the hotel gave us a bottle, which was very nice! We booked a standard double room, but it had a small balcony overlooking the pool and outdoor restaurant. The view was lovely. The security was also very good; nothing was lost during our several nights. We also noticed that the automatic door at the entrance was manually controlled by the front desk, so unauthorized people wouldn't be able to get in.

GGuest UserWe stayed with my spouse and child. I would generally recommend Hesperia Hotel to everyone. The hotel's location is very good. The rooms are spacious. The staff are friendly and helpful. Most importantly, it is a quiet hotel with no noise. For those who want to enjoy the Barcelona view, I recommend staying on the 11th floor or higher.

AAiwandexiaopengyouThe hotel is a bit old-fashioned, but the room size was decent enough, with more than ample space to open two large suitcases. And they had *duvets*! This was the only hotel among the several we stayed at in Spain that actually provided them. The location seemed decent enough, although we primarily used taxis. We found that for a group, taking taxis in Barcelona offered better value than using the metro. A branch of Joncake is just a 3-minute walk from the hotel – highly recommended! It's delicious and there was no waiting in line.

GGuest UserWe booked this hotel because it had good reviews and was a good offer price through Trip.com in the off season ( March ) . The hotel is in an excellent location of the Marina and very close to the train station for access into Barcelona. The Hotel is very nice, clean and staffed really well. We were a little disappointed to find that there were additional charges ( 14E per night) for underground parking for 3 nights and the spa facilities were including access to the indoor pool were 12E per day each person. Both these additional costs were not clear when booking and added considerably to the overall cost. The rooms are very well fitted , modern, light, airy and very clean with coffee maker and mini bar fridge. Excellent toilet and shower facilities and we had a sea view ( although it was over the small shipyard with some background electric tools noise during the morning and daytime but only noticeable when the balcony door was open. The biggest issue we had was the hard surface noises from adjoining rooms which were loud and affected sleep. Because the floors and rooms have lots of hard surfaces and foot movement in shoes or placing of things on hard surfaces or items dropped or placed on hard surfaces and doors slamming shut resulted in the noise carrying through. Unfortunately we had people in the next room who weren't very considerate late at night and into the early hours. We cant comment of the food in the hotel as we prefer to miss breakfasts and ate out in Mataro and Barcelona in the evenings but the food and restaurant looked very nice I write this review to give people an informed choice and heads up. Would we use the hotel again ? Probably YES , as we would be aware of the extra charges and would hopefully get a room with more considerate people in adjacent rooms. We have given 5/5 for the hotel in most aspects but only 3/5 for facilities because we felt that access to the indoor pool and sauna etc should have been included in the price of the hotel as it made no difference to them at the off peak period. The indoor pool had hardly anyone using it and the underground garage had half a dozen vehicles parked in it as many people staying at the hotel arrived without cars.

DDr. Julio BernalAt first I was concerned about the location of the hotel. Nothing to be worried about. The hotel is near the train station. (20 minutes walk). There are several options for dining around the hotel. The facilities are well kept (sauna/pool). The room was spacious and comfortable. Something to improve would be the operating ours for the bar. They close at 11. You could not get even a bottle of water unless you go and walk at least 10 minutes. Things that can improve for future travelers. 1. The attitude of the people in the lobby should represent the hotel brand. There was a staff person in the checking counter( I don’t know his name, male in his 30s…) yelling to another coworker and he didn’t mind if there were guests or not around. Truly unkind and unprofessional. 2. The restrooms in the lobby need a lot of maintenance. There were broken toilets and faucets. Besides these observations, this place is a very good option if you want to stay outside Barcelona.

SShamozhiyu89This hotel, built in 2023, boasts very new facilities, making for a comfortable stay. Its location is a bit off the beaten path, a little far from the Barcelona Convention Center (Fira de Barcelona). During peak exhibition times, taking the subway is actually more convenient than a taxi. Overall, compared to hotels closer to MWC, it offers great value for money.
