Located right in the heart of Wuzhou near the river. This hotel was quite large with a beautiful and elegant lobby. The room was equally spacious and comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked well and the bed was quite comfortable as well. Overall an excellent value for a hotel to use as a base for exploring Wuzhou!

This hotel is definitely one of the most satisfying I've ever stayed in. It truly feels like a home away from home. Every single detail, from check-in to check-out, was handled perfectly and with great care. The room was clean, comfortable, and tidy, and having access to VIP movie screenings on the projector was a great touch, like having your own private cinema. The service was thoughtful and attentive; the staff would stand up, smile, and greet us politely and enthusiastically every time we entered or left the lobby. The location and environment are also excellent, very close to the scenic spots. Fubo Hill and Diecai Hill are right across the street, offering stunning views of Guilin's landscapes. The air quality is great, although it's the dry season now, so the Li River doesn't have much water, but that doesn't detract from the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend it; staying here is an excellent choice.

The room was clean, and the disposable amenities were of good quality. 👍 The bedsheets were soft, comfortable, and spotless! The view was great, offering an aerial city and river view. We even saw a drone show, but we were out eating and missed most of it. The hotel breakfast was pretty good. 👍 The service was excellent; when I ordered takeout, a robot delivered it right to my room door. The location is superb, with many shops downstairs for browsing and plenty of food and drink options. The only minor issue I found was the somewhat impractical design for showering and getting dressed. Many hotels seem to have this style now, so maybe I'm just a bit behind the times.

Located opposite a pretty lake, nice for a walk, the hotel is good for leisure and business travellers. The rooms are large and well equipped. The shower was particularly nice and the bed is comfortable. The hotel is very clean. Fortunately I was with my Chinese speaking partner otherwise check in may have been a longer process. The breakfast was also fine but more orientated to local audience - albeit there is bread, fruit, eggs. Coffee at breakfast is not so good.

We had an absolutely unforgettable New Year’s celebration at LS Yangshuo Hotel, and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the very beginning, the hotel made us feel truly special. We stayed in a room in the new building with a breathtaking view, which made our holiday even more magical. When we were leaving, the hotel surprised us with thoughtful farewell gifts - delicious local sweets, which was such a warm and touching gesture. In the evening, the hotel organized a complimentary barbecue that was perfectly arranged and very tasty. The highlight of the night was the magnificent fireworks - truly spectacular and full of festive spirit. A very special thank you goes to the professional photographer Xiao Wu, who gifted us a free 30-minute photoshoot. Thanks to his talent and warm approach, we now have beautiful memories of our New Year celebration captured forever. We would also like to sincerely thank the amazing staff members who made our stay so comfortable and heartfelt: Housekeeper Lynn Victoria, Mei Ling, and Li Xiaodian. Their care, kindness, and attention to every detail made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued. Fresh fruits and the minibar were complimentary, which was another wonderful surprise. After the celebration, the hotel also arranged a free transfer in a comfortable, high-quality car to our next hotel located in the city center - an exceptional level of service. We are truly impressed by the hotel, the atmosphere, and especially the incredibly warm and attentive team. LS Yangshuo Hotel is a place where guests are treated with real love and respect. We will remember this experience for a long time and highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking something truly special !

This is the best Wyndham hotel I've stayed at so far. There's plenty of parking, the soundproofing is excellent, and I slept very well. The breakfast incorporates some local specialties and has a wide variety of options. It would be even better if the lobby had a display area showcasing local specialties from various counties.

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

The Shangri-La was hands down the most unforgettable hotel of our New Year's trip to Guangxi in 2026. Neither the Hyatt in Liuzhou nor the Wyndham in Fangchenggang came close – the Shangri-La was ten times better! From the magnificent lobby and the elegant, tasteful public areas, to the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the 68-meter-high sky lobby, and the meticulous room service – every staff member was warm, friendly, and efficient. Staying at the hotel itself felt like a vacation; there was no need to visit other attractions. It was an experience of art and culture. I highly recommend booking a package that includes afternoon tea. The themed afternoon tea setup was incredibly impressive, making us want to linger forever, as if we had stepped into a fairy tale. The breakfast was equally outstanding. The variety and exquisite quality of the Shangri-La's dining can't be matched by other hotels. I was particularly impressed by the local Guangxi lemon duck and the grilled pork (Mei Rou). The duck was served warm, and the moment it was opened, all the delicious oil flowed out. I couldn't stop at just two or three pieces each time! I even wanted to ask the hotel what brand they use so I could buy some to take home. The hotel offers direct access to MixC Mall, which had lively New Year's Eve festivities. It's also just a 10-minute drive to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, and there are several small parks directly opposite. If you take your time, you could easily stay for many days. Both the children and our elderly family members couldn't stop raving about it. We didn't want to leave at all! We'll definitely choose Shangri-La whenever we travel next. The Marriott hotel is super conveniently located right above a large shopping mall that has everything you need. It's also very easy to get to museums, Chaoyang Square, the train station, and the high-speed rail station via Metro Line 1. The hotel itself seems to have been recently renovated; it feels very new.

The family room was absolutely fantastic! It surpassed all the family hotels we've stayed in previously in Zhuhai and Guangzhou, even those costing over a thousand yuan. Truly unbeatable value for money! This is easily the best family room we've experienced in our family travels in recent years. They even provided small toys for the kids in the bathtub. The little tent and dolls in the room were spotless, and with the addition of a soft carpet and a slide, our two children had an absolute blast! On our subsequent road trip to Yunnan, none of the other family rooms we stayed in could compare; our kids kept talking about wanting to come back and stay here the entire way! 🤭
