Nice hotel except the towel is like an old rug. Management - Please get new towels for the guess. We have paid the price, but we did not get the quality we expected
Loving the facilities and varieties of free activities provided. We literally just stay in the hotel to join as much activities as we can. The kids had lots of fun at kids club, we parents joined latte art class, aerial yoga. Even grandparents enjoyed the stay, my mum & I managed to join the flower arranging class, mums finally got to have fun too 🥰
🏨 Truth Review Stay at Artotel Leguna Magelang (3– 5 March 2026)
i stayed at artotel leguna magelang from march 3rd to march 5th of 2026 because there was an event at university of محمد iyah magelang on march 3rd and 4th. the location is quite strategic and it makes me easy to move to the campus,so it is not too tired to go back and forth.
originally i ordered a standard room with 1 large bed, including sahur 2 pax.************can free upgrade to superior room,so the room feels more relieved and comfortable. the room is clean, tidy, and it is good to rest after a busy day of activities.the bed is soft and makes you sleep better.
what i like the most, from the room you can see the mountain view 🌄 the atmosphere is quiet and cool, especially in the morning.it’s really good to recharge the energy before continuing to activities.
about service,i think the team is friendly and responsive:
Morning, Ms. Risty and Mas Aga helped
In the afternoon, Mas Bangkit, Ms. Sheila and Ms. Nayra.
Mas Fino helped at night
Everything was helpful and communicative. If anything I needed, the response was quick and not complicated. It felt well served, not just formalities.
For housekeeping, I was helped Mas Dani. The room was always clean and well kept during my stay.
for sahur is served in buffet in the restaurant.although there are not too many choices,it is enough, the taste is good, and it is well prepared and timely.so there is no need to worry about staying during the puasa month.
Overall, I was satisfied and felt comfortable during my stay here. Suitable for those with activities in Magelang, both campus events, work, and just a staycation with a quiet atmosphere and mountain view.
if you go to magelang again,i don’t mind staying here again 👍
Stayed for 2 nights in Room 703.
➕ Plus:
• Great location, 7 mins to Simpang Lima and directly connected to Queen City Mall, which has many good restaurants and shops.
• Good value for money considering the facilities and location in Semarang.
• Complete in-room amenities: washing machine, large fridge, microwave, stove, plates, and cooking utensils, very convenient for family stays or longer visits.
• Smooth check-in process, and no deposit required.
➖ Minus:
• Electricity went on and off more than 8 times during my stay. The outage was short each time, but it disturbed our convenience, especially when charging devices.
• A flying cockroach came out from the upper side of the wardrobe cupboard. I reported it to the staff.
• Breakfast restaurant is quite small and often crowded, with limited menu choices.
• Room is not soundproof, noise from the streets and the train can be clearly heard, even until midnight.
A quiet hotel that is comfortable for resting after a day of work
Quite comfortable hotel
Good service
During sahur fasting, the menu is a bit lacking in variety
Perfect for families — the room is spacious and clean, ideal for bringing a baby. The service is also great, even when we requested additional cleaning after our baby's complementary food (MPASI) got messy and spilled on the floor. The price is also quite satisfying. Keep up the good work!
love every part of this hotel, during all my hop on and hop off hotels this past years, this Gumaya hotel has met a good standard in most of aspects, especially the breakfast. im so suprised find hotel that the breakfast food taste delicious in all the stalls (usually will be too salty, too bland or just bleh..) but at gumaya, we are like travelling to each own traditional food restaurant, the authentic gudeg, the very nice lumpia and ikan bandeng, the warm soto ayam semarang and the homemade jamu and juices.
all is excellent.
Amazing

Very Good
GGuest UserThis is my 2nd visit to this hotel. Previous visit was quite ok, however this time we were dissapointed with their cleanliness. Once we entered the room, the bedsheet and blankets were a bit smelly and there were yellowish color on them. Also, they forgot to refill the body soap inside the room. Although they did replace the dirty bedsheets and refilled the soap after making a request, but it shows how lacking they are in their cleanliness. Management needs to pay attention to this!
GGuest UserKamar bagus dan luas, ac dingin, staff ramah, city view cakep.
Sayang nya curtain room kurang bagus perlu di ganti.
Air panas kurang.
Tp utk overall good sih .
AArierainblueI came during high season so maybe the cleaning staff wasn't very detailed (we found popcorn at floor and some stain at bed sheet). I complained and the staff handle it very well.
However this hotel located at strategic place so near from central city.
The hotel is connected to a mall, so it's very helpful for families with children (I brought a 1-year-old baby) if there are baby items that we forgot to bring from home. We can buy them at the mall.
Breakfast is complete but maybe if they have ”nasi tim” it will be perfect.
(In this case because my baby cant eat rice yet)
Thank you Po Hotel
GGuest UserI can't find any other word to describe this Hotel that fits more than Exceed Expectation.
I stayed here for six nights, and almost every day, the Housekeeper made some cute animal towels in the room, not to mention that the room was brand new and sparkly clean.
Let's talk about Breakfast. I was surprised by how wide the varieties of Breakfast were, starting from authentic Solo delicacies, Indonesian dishes, and some Western options. Aside from that, all of them were Yummy!
For the price I paid. Worth the bucks. If I compare it with some hotels I have stayed in outside Indonesia, Solia Zigna is still the winner.
On the second day of my stay, I remember the staff from Front Desk sent me some chocolate to the room, talking about exceptional service! Thank you so much.
I would say this Hotel is very suitable for someone who wants to chill on holiday and make a short business trip to Solo. Next to the Hotel building, there is Canting Londo Restaurant, the perfect place to set up some business meetings or meet up with some clients. Later it's nice to walk around Kampung Batik Laweyan, Located right behind the Hotel (exit from the Front Desk door ).
Overall this Hotel deserved Five stars review from me.
For the Price - Location - Food and Beverage - and Service, IT SO WORTHED!
See you again Solia Zigna. Thank you for everything
PS: One little note, I wish they provide plant base milk for a Lactose Intolerance person like me.
( even if it's not free but at least they provide some )
but no Judge, most restaurant or Coffee shop in Solo doesn't have Plant base milk.
GGuest UserRezt Hotel Semarang is a great budget-friendly stay in a strategic location. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, perfect for a short trip. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. It’s close to food spots and easy to access from the city center. A solid choice for travelers looking for a simple, clean, and affordable place in Semarang.
WWong Thai YuanGood location, hotel a little old but clean. Complimentary mineral water is restricted to 2 bottles only with only basic in the bathroom (shpoo n shower gel plus tooth brush n tooth paste). Requested for ironing board and iron that took around 45 min n 1 reminder
AAk RahmanThis is a beautiful property with clean well appointed rooms. The gym has good equipment and the pool is great. The only thing that I was not happy with is the hotel changed their policy about using the sauna and steam rooms. I have been visiting this hotel every year and this is the first time I was denied entry because I booked a superior room instead of a deluxe room. I believe this is a bad policy.

GGaryDLarge room and bathroom. Kettle and mini fridge provided. Water dispensers on every floor. Plenty of storage. Good aircon and decent WiFi. Rooms are similar to an Ibis design. Good location, close to shopping malls and about a 30 minute walk to the old town. Wonderful staff, very kind and helpful. Nice pool area. It's on a main road so it was noisy at times.
