WV very good local hotel, the price is cheaper, breakfast is also rich, I lived for 15 days, but it takes 10 days to check in again, very fantastic rules, often the room left to clean the paper is still warm, bathroom There are 3 sets of towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, mouthwash, moisturizer, hair dryer, soap, just like most American hotels, there are no slippers and drinking water.

The convenience of staying right at the ****** was the best part of the stay. It was great to walk right up to our room after a fun night without having to go outside. But other than that it was just ok. The staff checking us in looked tired and worn down. They were clearly used to checking in people who stay at ******s often but this was new to us. When I said it was our first time here I would have appreciated some info about breakfast and maybe an offer for a players card. Some staff were new so learning the job is understandable, but it just looked like it had been a really long day. The room was fine. It was clean and comfortable. The ****** was a lot of fun. Breakfast the next am was pretty basic, cereal oatmeal, toast, bagels, muffins and yogurt. The host arranging it all was lovely and helpful. He found earl gray tea for me when I asked. It was a fun overnight at an ok hotel. Glad we gave it a try.

Posted on Jul 29, 2026|Standard Room With 2 Queen Beds-Mobility Accessible Roll-in Shower
Guest UserGood enough. The linens were clean, the floor was clean. The hotel was renovated a few years ago, and I would have to say the whatever contractor they hired did a shoddy job. There were lots of rough edges. It’s fitting that this hotel is in a college town because the work done to the room evokes the classic Morgantown “landlord special.” That said, we booked the handicap accessible room because my dad has mobility issues, and it was very well equipped for his needs. It had a full walk-in shower with stability bars, non-slip surfaces, and a shower chair. It was also located on the first floor right by a side door which made it so much easier for him to get to and from the car. The breakfast was really good by continental breakfast standards. We really enjoyed the warm cinnamon rolls. We didn’t use the office, gym, or pool, but they seemed fine. We would stay here again.

This is the most beautiful hotel on this American itinerary. The hotel is located on a beautiful hillside. When we checked in at night, we searched for the hotel for more than half an hour. The sign on the roadside was not obvious. It took a few laps to find it. You almost gave up.
I like the hotel's internal and external environment. A typical American hotel is the same as other American hotels. There is no kettle, toothbrush and toothpaste, and other facilities are good.
The lounge upstairs of the hotel lobby is very impressive, and there is a swimming pool next to it. There is a golf course in front of the hotel, a small lake behind, and many sika deer by the road at night.
If not in a hurry, I really want to stay in this hotel for another day!

The hotel was nice and we have stayed at Fairfield Inns before. However, the television was broken and needed to be replaced. There were lines on the display screen in two directions, a spot in the lower left hand corner where the television had been dropped or something hit the screen, and the remote control had a sticky substance on the back of it and had obviously not been cleaned. When my wife used the hair dryer, the plastic on the exterior of the hair dryer had separated and posed a potential hazard. The worst part of our stay was my wife finding a bug in the bed when she was straightening the bed for our departure.
The accommodations were not up to Marriott standards, but the desk clerk received our concerns well and apologized.

We were expecting a no-frills experience, so that wasn’t the problem. The problem was the following: very loose electric outlets so it was difficult to plug in a Wi-Fi charger, broken tile on bathroom floor that was dangerous with a sharp edge. A live roach in the bathroom, a nonworking hairdryer, no Kleenex at check in and none even after maid service, a stark breakfast with no abailable cold water or juice and minimal choices. We stayed two days and some of the desk people were very kind and helpful. It was the facility that was subpar, even for an older place. Would’ve gladly paid a bit more to be more comfortable. Yes, the beds and towels and coffee were fine, btw.

Guest UserThe hotel is being remodeled and we were in a remodeled room. Due to COVID supply chain delays the room was not finished. We had no closet and there were no shelves in the bathroom so towels were stacked on back of toilet. The room is extremely poorly lit. There was only one tiny lamp between the two beds. It was a rainy dark morning and so it was hard to see in the main room. We stayed at a Hampton Inn two nights before in Wheeling West Virginia. That room was bigger and brighter and had a closet and it cost almost 40 dollars less. Go figure.

Guest UserEnjoy the Managers reception and breakfast buffet. However the room we were assigned on was definitely in need of some TLC maintenance. Love that each room truly is a suite. This was a surprise as we had stayed a week before on a different level and everything was top notch. It was a holiday weekend and I am sure very busy so perhaps that is part of reason. Also, staffing may also account for a very limited and sometimes nonexistent buffet at managers reception. However , I choose to believe our stay the weekend before was more to standard of Embassy.

This was a one night stay. We checked into our room and didn’t have any water- no toilet, no shower, no sink. We went back downstairs and let them know and they said it was due to construction and the water would be back on in an hour. It wasn’t, so we went to dinner. Thankfully we finally had water. Not a great way to spend time in a hotel, when half the time we were there, we didn’t have any water to the room. Location was great, but there are other hotels around. They should have told us before booking about the construction.
