Rakuten STAY Fuji Kawaguchiko Station
4.6/546 Reviews
The location of the hotel is about 10 minutes away from Kawaguchiko Station, which is quite convenient. The hotel facilities are first-class. There is room for improvement in hotel services. I booked this apartment hotel through trip.com. When we arrived at the entrance of the hotel, we found that there was no front desk staff to help customers check in. Customers had to enter a password at the gate to enter, and the biggest problem was that the hotel never gave me the gate password. The hotel door sign only lists a local Japanese phone number, saying that customers can call this number for help if they encounter problems, but I don't have a phone card that can call a Japanese phone number. Generally speaking, for customers who need to self check-in and book a hotel, the door password should be sent directly to the customer via email before the customer arrives at the hotel, so that the customer can directly use the password to enter the hotel after arriving at the hotel, instead of calling the hotline for help after arriving at the hotel door. I think not every passenger has a phone card that can make local calls. Now many people also use data cards. Fortunately, I used the trip.com app to contact customer service, and the customer service staff helped to contact the hotel. After disturbing for about half an hour, the hotel sent me a password by email to enter the hotel. I think that besides the hotel, the service of trip.com also has a lot of room for improvement, because the customer service staff of trip.com said that usually the hotel will send the password to the customer by email, but this time the order was booked through trip.com, So the hotel doesn't have my email address and can't send me the gate code. So I think trip.com also has a duty to make sure customers book this kind of aparthotel. Before the customer checks in, it is necessary to ensure that the customer has the password to enter the gate to prevent the same thing from happening again.
GLAMPING VILLA HANZ KAWAGUCHIKO

Stayed one night with my family. No matter what the feature is, the food is delicious as a glamping. It's BBQ style, so of course we grill it ourselves, but I think the ingredients are good. Same goes for breakfast. Homemade cola is also excellent. I didn't eat it this time, but there were plenty of other homemade fruit wines and they looked delicious. The cottage-like accommodation was also neat. If I had to point out the drawbacks, it would be that we slept in a sleeping bag on a bed-like place, so we couldn't say that we were able to sleep comfortably. I couldn't help but feel sleep deprived. Correspondence of staff was very kind and seemed to be able to do hot spring facility in November (it was said that hot spring appeared as a result of boring.).

Perfect place to stay for photographer of videographer alike who wants convenience of viewing Mt Fuji. You just need to cross the street and Mount Fuji is visible clearly. On top of that, the shuttle bus (red line) will also alight you right in front of the property, convenient! However, if you are particular about upkeep, amenities - then this is not what the property is offering. During our stay, I had to deal with insects, giant moth and spiders. The bed arrangement doesn't smell and look like the most hygienic too. In conclusion, the place is old - but the only motivation to stay here is the view of Mount Fuji!
Bacchus Kofu Guesthouse

It takes about 15 minutes to walk from Kofu Station. There was a staff inside. (Recently, Japanese guest houses are corona and there are many unmanned places where staff do not correspond.) The staff response was normal. The building is also like that, but the building was old and it was a Russian style building that reminded me of the old building when I traveled to Russia from Japan.

This property clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. It's a small property and on a quiet side street, but also only a 5 minute walk from the main station so it's great for getting around. We very much recommend it. We were skeptical about the futon beds at first, but we found them to be very comfortable.

The location is convenient, just in the small town of Kawaguchiko Station, no one checks in, but there is a printing process, the operation is simple, but it is not soundproof. The younger brother or younger sister who manages the hotel is really super warm 😭😭😭😭 My room 211 is really super beautiful! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! Opening the window is Mt. Fuji. The scenery is really good. I can experience the tranquility and comfort of a small Japanese town. I really miss it now. I want to stay another night. In the afternoon, I can still hear the school bell and feel like I am here go to school boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Fuji International Hotel

The hotel is located on the edge of Yamanaka Lake, with a quiet and elegant environment. It takes about ten minutes to walk along the lakeside trail at the entrance to Asahiki Station. There are buses from JR Fuji Station or Lake Kawaguchi. The boss can pick you up at the station for free. Or you can pay a small fee and go directly from Lake Kawaguchi, Oshino Hakkai, Gotemba Outlet and other places. The boss can arrange pick-up and drop-off. The transportation is quite convenient. The room is spacious and comfortable, with two beds and tatami mats, which is bigger than expected. a lot The landlady was also very warm and considerate. We stayed for two nights and my husband felt a little unwell. The landlady immediately brought me some spare medicine. After checking out, I forgot to bring my camera and arranged for someone to bring it to us. She is really kind and kind-hearted. For tourists who are not fluent in English and Japanese, it is more convenient to stay at his home, and any problems can be solved more quickly and properly. Mount Fuji is beautiful. This is a winter trip. I want to see the maple leaves in the future🍁. I would also like to stay here again if I have the chance.
Kawaguchiko Station Inn

For anyone on a budget, their rates start at roughly 4200 yen/night including the 5% tax - however the prices do change by season and room availability For pure convenience, I give this lodging a 5 star. It is literally across the street from Kawaguchiko Station Inn, so you don't have to worry about transporting your luggage to yet another location. The rooms are simple, tatami mats with down comforter, plenty of room. There are TVs however, please note that all the programming available was in Japanese. There is free wifi, but it can be pretty slow especially at night, when I assume that everyone is back from their hikes and trying to access the Wi-Fi at the same time. I would highly recommend Kawaguchiko Station Inn for a convenient stay near Lake Kawaguchiko for an amazing view of Mt Fuji and easy access to the red line buses to travel the rest of the lake as long as you curb your expectations for a budget friendly stay. *Tip* they are cash only and there are no non-smoking rooms according to their website. However there were no smells of smoke in our room during the stay

The boss and the proprietress are kind and welcoming, the space environment is spacious, although the house is relatively old, but the feeling of the boss and the proprietress is very clean and tidy; the breakfast dishes are slightly different every day for three days and will not be tired.

I traveled with my mom since she came to visit and hasnt been to the area, it's easily the best service I've ever received - the owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and the property is absolutely gorgeous. I definitely plan on returning in the future, perhaps yearly for a getaway. Thank you so much for the delightful stay!
