This was not the nicest Holiday Inn, but our stay was fine. Our room on the 4th floor was clean and smelled fresh. The man working at the front desk was friendly and helpful in getting help right away when we had a clogged toilet in the room. The water pressure in the shower wasn't great. I with there was free breakfast but there's a Dunkin Donuts next door to the hotel which was convenient. The pool was freezing but that didn't deter my 8 year old!

We enjoyed a perfectly fine stay in early March 2024. The location was good, and just a short 5-10 min walk from shops, restaurants and bars in Fort Myers (although, be mindful of needing to cross a very large intersection just outside the hotel). Plenty of free parking in their lot, but no EV chargers. Being a brand new hotel, the actual rooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. But as one reviewer notes, the HVAC unit was noisy. Wasn't a problem for us, but may be for others. Breakfast and other amenities are as you would you expect with any Hampton Inn. But special shout out to Beth who served breakfast each morning during our stay! Would stay here again.

We love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.

The hotel is very comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable. We had a senior bowling team at the pool, which had been turned in a good way again in the evening. All rooms have a super view towards Fort Myers and you can sit super on the balcony until late evening and enjoy the view of a (or more) well-served beer(s).

In my lifetime, I must have stayed at. 20 some Econo lodges and this has to be the worst. If you want coffee when you wake up, you're not going to get it. There's no coffee machine in the room and for they're little continental breakfast They don't open the doors till 7. So you have to go somewhere else if you get up earlier to get coffee. It was freshly painted you can tell. But other than that, it wasn't all. That great or worth the money. Then you have the people hanging out in the parking lot wanting to come up to you for money Etc. Not a very good area. And also post said, it's in Fort Myers, but it's in North Fort Myers two blocks. From the bridge and the sign that says welcome to Fort Myers.

The staff here was the best thing this hotel has going for it. That is really the only positive thing I have to say about my stay there. The shuttle doesn’t start running until 10:30 am. When I arrived around 11, they didn’t have a room so I went to the pool to sit and wait. The pool area was fine, but the furniture is pretty beat up. I went back inside after a while and heard person after person checking out complaining about dirty rooms, smells, and loud noise at night. It became clear that this is not just an airport hotel, but also a low rent living situation for a few people. The front desk staff eventually got a room cleaned for me so I could check in early. My room was definitely not what I expected based on the photos. Paint was chipped, the shower was not clean and had mildew all around the seams. The room smelled musty. The pillows were the size of throw pillows you’d put on your sofa. Very bizarre. I realize that it’s cheap and it’s near the airport so one can’t expect a first-class experience and I don’t go into it with those expectations. However, I wouldn’t stay there again.

Lovely new hotel. Warm greeting. Nice room. Comfortable beds. A little too dark: had to go out and buy and brighter bulb for the lamp in order to have a good reading light. Strange to have a little ”kitchenette” with microwave, fridge and coffeemaker without a sink, which used to be normal for Springhill Suites. Really miss that sink. Also, the new concept combines the lavatory with the toilet and shower. We prefer the divided concept where one person can use the lavatory while the other uses the bathroom. But we had an enjoyable stay and will likely stay there again.

My family and I recently stayed at this property after our flight was canceled due to Tropical Storm Debbie. I needed to find a place rather quickly and came across this Courtyard in the Bonvoy app. Upon arrival, we were granted early check-in, which was a huge plus as we had been up early, hoping to get out of Southwest Florida before further flooding occurred. Our room was modestly appointed with two queen beds and clean linens. The room was damp despite the AC trying to keep up with the constant humidity. My wife and kids could use the clean hotel pool, which kept them well entertained while I attended to some work calls in the room. The staff is overall friendly and very accommodating. For convenience, a restaurant adjacent to the property can be walked to, and the food was pretty tasty. Well our stay was mostly out of necessity, I would think about re-booking again if passing through the Fort Myers area.

I read reviews of this property before going and wondered if I was going to a hell hole or a nice place. Thankfully we ended up at a very nice place. We were warmly welcomed by Mateo at the front desk who recognized our membership status and gave us clear directions to our room. Our room (410) was bright and clean and looked as if it had been refurbished in the not too distant past. The air conditioner worked well and was about as quiet as an air conditioner of its type could be. All the lights and outlets worked well, too. Breakfast was a typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast. The cinnamon rolls were in a warming tray, there was a toaster that worked well for my bagel, and the eggs, bacon and biscuits looked fresh (though I did not try them). The breakfast room was scheduled to close at 9. The woman in charge went out and looked up and down the halls at 9:05 then turned to the room to announce a last call for the breakfast. She did her best not to cut anyone off too soon. Checkout was easy and friendly. Why not a 5-star? The “suite” was one room with a 30” divider between the sofa and the bed. The sofa had no throw pillows, which were sorely needed due to its depth. So we resorted to using bed pillows. The sofa was just “there.” No tv to watch (it could be seen only while lying in bed). There was one bath towel per person. That was 2 towels short for our needs, which aren’t out of the ordinary. We were given extras when we asked. But we shouldn’t have had to ask. The Keurig-style coffee pot was tucked under the microwave. That made it impossible to open it to pour water into it. And why are hotels not putting at least plastic cups in bathrooms for use when brushing teeth? OK. Not much of this is different than in most Holiday Inn Expresses. But this one could have had 5 stars if it could have broken out of the mold. But I’d return here again if I had to make another trip to Fort Myers.

Room was very clean and comfy beds. Surprisingly quiet for being in a busy area. Staff was working nonstop to keep things clean inside and out. Hotel building itself is dated so if you are looking for modern this isn’t it. The location was good. Close to restaurants and shopping. Only about 20 minutes from airport and half hour from Sanibel. It served our purpose for a quick trip. Well lit parking lot. No elevator but it’s only 2 floors. The man on the screen for check in was a little odd, but it went smoothly. Hotel was great at communicating via text.

My partner and I made this reservation several months before our date of arrival. A couple of weeks before our arrival, we called the property itself and requested a room on a higher floor, with a balcony, so that we could view the fireworks without leaving the comfort of our room. We were assured that our request would be honored. Upon checking in, we were assigned a first floor room with a small patio that afforded absolutely no privacy whatsoever, and not much of a river view either. Neither was the room particularly clean, carpeting in Florida is always iffy; and this carpet was so nasty that I couldn’t walk on it barefooted. In general, I found the housekeeping to be lax. The worst problem was the plumbing; the commode required at least three flushes to empty and the sink didn’t drain properly……it nearly overflowed while we brushed our teeth and while my companion shaved. The doors opened directly to the outside and not to a corridor, and the door itself had a relatively good size hole at the bottom of it. The bed was comfortable, the pillows were fine, the towels were fluffy, but all in all not one of Best Western‘s better hotels. We probably would not stay again.

I always check the Best Western website for the property before I book especially as a diamond select member. When the property does not give you full disclosure on the Best Western website I am very leery about that property. This particular property does not give you full disclosure on the website nor on any notification at the desk when you check in about their $150 incidental hold on your credit card. They don't tell you about that until you've actually swiped your credit card and then it's a oh by the way there is a $150 incidental hold. Which is quite excessive when you consider the total cost of the room with taxes and fees was $89. Their Cavalier attitude towards this is very irritating. I expect better from the Best Western Property especially as a diamond select member. I travel for business over 250 days a year and I have a choice on where I stay. I will not be staying at this particular property again.

We stay at a lot of Hilton Garden Inns and this one, by far, is one of the nicest we've encountered. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The landscaping around the property (pool area and patio area by the restaurant) is absolutely beautiful. Everything is clean and well-maintained. One of my favorite ”likes” is the shampoo, lotion, and shower gel dispensers in the bathroom versus the small tubes you usually receive. This change is definitely economical for them and easy to use for us. Their breakfast menu is varied and generous in size and the fresh fruit and freshly baked breakfast breads are incredible and abundant in choices to make breakfast a real treat. Claudia is a delightful, hard-working server who really makes you feel welcomed and appreciated. The location is a plus as well, despite some road construction going on right now....don't let it deter you though, this place is top of the line!!!!!!!

I've stayed here many times in the past, but I think the maintenance quality has declined. My room had a musty smell to it and they've stripped out all the carpet for hard floors. The bathroom fixtures, lamps, and beds are all good. The internet service was poor when it worked at all and most of my stay it was out. It's good for the money and pet-friendly for $25/day, but not quite as comfortable as I remembered from past years (and hoped to have again). Decent continental breakfast. Last weekend this Holiday Inn hosted our 2023 annual town hall meeting for our construction materials business and we had about 75 guests attend. Stefanie and her team did an excellent job communicating prior to the event and were so accommodating for some last minute changes and room booking. I definitely felt the team was doing everything they could to make our experience as nice as possible. The venue (ballroom) was great balance of professional, bright, easy-going and welcoming vibes. I didn't want this to be another stuffy corporate event and it certainly wasn't. Banquet Captain Frankie took care of us on the day of the event and we had no issues with our coffee supply or lunch buffet. Lunch was the South of the Border buffet and it seemed to be a hit with our group. The event went off without a snag! Stefanie and Frankie played a big part in making my event successful and I'll be booking them again in 2024

Very pleased with our experience. This is not a new hotel but everything was nice. Pillows and mattresses comfy. Location was easy to get to and staff was helpful. Our high-light was Tammy who works M-W in the breakfast area. She is a GEM!!! She spoke to every single guest and you felt like she was hosting old friends in her own home. We found out that she used to sing so we talked her into gracing us with her talent! We weren't disappointed nor were those who heard her down the hall and stopped by to say how much they enjoyed hearing her! Seriously, she was such a sweetie! We asked her about local things to do and she took her break time to give us detailed information. I'd stay here again just because of her! The only negative thing was that the pool could use some chemicals. The walls were full of green algae.

Love everything about this Resort but have to single out the staff. From check-in with Diane, to vehicle/luggage assistance from James, James, Dave and NELSON (!), to Sam and the best filet/service ever at Courtside Restaurant and to Chris for the great poolside conversation and delicious food choices. I know I’ve left out a few but everyone at the front desk was helpful and friendly. The resort is recovering from Ian and the staff did everything possible to provide a great stay.

I would highly recommend this place, the staff go out of their way to be helpful and caring, the place is always clean. I especially love the front desk staff Cheryl and Kristian and must say my teenage is quite found of them too. Your not just a number , it’s nice to be greeted by my name when I walk in and I know my daughter is safe which is everything without safety we have nothing. Pete the maintenance man goes out of his way to say hello to everyone he passes and Wendy is just a ray of sun shine u can’t help but smile around her

Very good value. The staff was very efficient. The after hours reception was very good. Food was o k for free but the staff had a hard time supplying the demand. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I stayed at this hotel because of my previous good experience in Valdosta Georgia.
