The hotel is very new. Plush beddings and carpets. There was a welcome cake which was super good. Very nice pool, big enough that even though there were a lot of people, it wasn't crowded. Internet was spotty though, TVs aren't smart TVs where you could watch over streaming apps. I did connect my own HDMI device to use, but the internet was not strong enough to hold a steady connection to watch without interruptions. All in all, everything was great, save for the internet. If I can get a great deal, I might just come back on the 3rd week of July for a birthday celebration.

I had a great time staying at Valero. Our suite was spacious and clean. The Wi-Fi worked very well, and the shower was working properly. We enjoyed the clean pool, and I had a great time in their well-equipped gym with a view. Right outside the hotel are a lot of shops, and it is just walking distance to Ayala Triangle Park. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others! Thank you!

The location is definitely one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s just a few steps away when you get off Runway Manila toward Newport, making it extremely convenient—especially for travelers. There’s a Lawson, Starbucks, and several restaurants right around the corner, and Newport Mall is only about a 400-meter walk away. Security is also reassuring, as all luggage is scanned upon entry, which gives an added sense of safety. However, the stay itself had several drawbacks. The breakfast spread is quite limited and not particularly tasty. It also gets crowded very early—by 7 AM, seats are already hard to find, and you may need to wait. We stayed on a weekday, so it’s likely even worse on weekends. The room was underwhelming. We were assigned a standard room on the 4th floor, quite far from the elevator, which was inconvenient. While the beds and pillows were soft and comfortable, the overall cleanliness felt lacking. There was only one bathrobe and one glass provided, and the amenities were very basic. The bathroom was especially disappointing—it was dark, felt unclean, and had visible mildew on the curtains. The curtains were also too short, causing water to spill into other areas of the bathroom. It almost seemed like the dim lighting was intentional to hide these issues. Overall, the hotel is acceptable if you just need a place to rest after a long flight or if you have an early departure. But for comfort and overall quality, there’s definitely room for improvement.

I'm a tourist from Japan, and this was my first time visiting Manila, staying for only one day. I was also planning a late-night checkout, so I looked for the cheapest hotel possible and booked this one for about 4,000 yen per night. Honestly, I didn't have high expectations, but I was surprised to find it much cleaner and the lobby much grander than I imagined. There's a security guard permanently stationed at the entrance, and a metal detector for security checks, which made me feel very safe. I had to pay a cash deposit at check-in, but it was refunded without any issues at check-out. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, making for a pleasant stay. The shower pressure was a bit weak, but it wasn't particularly inconvenient. The hotel is located deep within Chinatown, but it's still conveniently situated for sightseeing. There were many tourists and shoppers around, and I felt safe walking out until around 8 PM. Since I enjoy walking, I even explored Intramuros on foot. Considering the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it for short stays or for travelers looking to save on accommodation costs.

The first thing that must be said is that this hotel really is value for your money. The lobby area has dining and modest cafe facilities. The staff are very friendly and service-oriented. Jenold was particularly affable and helpful. The room size was fine for a single traveler. The bed was soft and the pillows were good so I slept well. The bathroom was a bit cramped due to an inward-opening door. Poor design there. Terminal 3 is just across a very busy road.

The hotel is a bit old and a little far from the city center. However, ordering a Grab is very convenient, and you can get picked up and dropped off right at the entrance. Overall, I still think it's pretty good. Thumbs up! 👍

We stayed overnight for the Manila Marathon because the location is good. It’s our first time staying in Lime. Checking in is fast, staff were efficient. But they have a very limited parking space. The room is not quite clean. The carpet is dirty, the bathroom glass is also a bit dirty with molds and some hair strands sticking on the glass and walls of the shower area. The toilet kinda smelled a bit of a pee. It doesn’t smell like it was cleaned with disinfectants. The bed llines have stains. I don’t know if it was even replaced with a new one because it doesn’t smell clean too. The food is good, reasonably priced. The pool is small, with limited space for people to stay and lounge but the view is great. if we’re going for a staycation, we’d rather stay in other hotels.

They made using the TV so complicated! Upon checking in the reception did not tell me about the WiFi and how it works. Did not ask if I want breakfast even if there’s added fee I would have paid for it. The hallways are steaming. I’m not a fan of toilets not enclosed. It does not sit well with me. I’m not an extravagant dresser so it very wrong for the personnel assume am not booked in the hotel. Also they ushered me to the OWWA Desk asking if I’m a Domestic Helper.

Stayed at Hotel H2O with a 4-year-old and a 1-year-old. Its main advantage is the location inside the park, providing direct access to attractions and making it easy to return to the room for naps and breaks. Pros * Excellent location inside the park with easy access to attractions. * Convenient for families with young children who need rest breaks. * Staff quickly resolved a minor issue with a broken bidet upon arrival. * Bed size is king as advertised. Cons * Cleanliness was adequate but not exceptional. * No room service available. * Restaurants are available on the ground floor and via GrabFood delivery, but in-room dining would be more convenient. * The hotel’s restaurant feels disconnected from the overall hotel experience. Recommendation Hotel H2O is a good choice if your main goal is visiting the  attractions, especially with young children. If you do not plan to spend time in the area, other hotels may offer better value.
