켜니튜브켜니튜브The hotel's location is pretty good, within walking distance to Powell Street and just a minute's walk to the Hilton. It's a fairly large hotel. I really appreciate having an ATM in the basement, though there's about a $4 fee if you use a Travelodge card. There was a deposit at check-in, which was successfully cancelled on my card a day after check-out. The staff were all pleasant, and the lounge area in the lobby is really well-designed. There's a restaurant on the first floor that seems to serve breakfast and also operates as a bar in the evenings, which is great for a safe nightcap. Housekeeping was adequate, but there's no toothpaste, toothbrush, or room slippers among the amenities. Even with the heating turned all the way up, it was a bit chilly at night. There's no master switch for the room lights, so I had to turn each one on manually, and overall the room was quite dim. There's a mini-fridge, and one can of water is provided; it seems they replenish it if you leave the empty can as trash. I would definitely stay here again.
Guest UserGuest UserWe found Cow Hollow Inn and Suites about 20 years ago. It has become our favorite place to stay in the City. It is always very clean, the staff is always helpful, the parking is free and it is in one of the best locations in the City. Wonderful and fun restaurants and bars along Chestnut Street. Perfect for morning walks to the Palace of Fine Arts and the Marina Green. And, the adjacent restaurant, Home Plate is very good and convenient for breakfast. The recent remodel makes it even better!
fukun101010fukun101010This is a conference hotel with full amenities, located right in the city center. It's very convenient for a city walk around the area. The hotel's hygiene is also quite good. There are plenty of dining options downstairs. Plus, there's a taxi stand available.

The famous Cable Car is just a 10-minute walk away. On a parallel street, about 5 minutes away, there are several nice cafes with excellent breakfast options.
The room itself was spacious and clean, with daily housekeeping. The shower room was fresh, and the tiles and fixtures were in excellent condition. There's also a coffee machine in the room. The front desk staff were pleasant, and it was particularly nice to meet a fellow countrywoman, Julia, who was very kind and resolved our small requests twice. Thank you so much, dear Julia, for your kind help and warm welcome!

It's also not far from Chinatown, so I can easily buy Chinese groceries and cook my own meals. The room was decent, but there was some noise from the outdoor air conditioning unit.
