On the first day, the front desk proactively upgraded my room. The second day, I was going to book directly at the front desk, but the price had gone up. So, I ended up booking through Trip.com again, and they didn't change my room, which was actually great! That's because my room had a direct view of the Burj Khalifa from the window, so I was quite happy with it. It's an apartment-style hotel with a kitchen, fridge, washing machine, pots and pans, a stove, a range hood, and a coffee machine – you can cook your own meals, but only simple ones.ChengdazhuangChengdazhuangThis was a last-minute stopover for our first night in Dubai. Even though we only stayed one night, the hotel's location was excellent. Just a few hundred meters and a right turn led us to Dubai's main street with all the skyscrapers.
The hotel staff were incredibly welcoming. Since we were traveling with a child, they kindly provided an extra duvet free of charge and converted the sofa into a sofa bed, which was spacious enough for us and our little one.
It was also super convenient to go for a run in the morning from the hotel to the main road where the tall buildings are located.
We were very fortunate that the airport closed due to the Iran attacks the day after we left the UAE. I hope all the hotel staff and tourists are safe, and I wish for world peace!
