My wife generally handles the major part of our trip plans and then I jump in after she has eliminated the ”chaff” to select the best of the best. In the case of of choosing a hotel in a city the size of Lima (11 million plus) First she decided on Baranco over Miraflores for the relative number of art galleries and sites of interest while having fewer tourists than Miraflores. Next, to choose the barrio of the myriad available she decided on somewhere outside of the historic district but within a 6 block walk of just about everything we would wish to see. Located on a quiet one-way street between two walk-able major thoroughfares, with an extremely elegant steakhouse at one end of the block and a really nice restaurant, Sofa Cafe, at the other (we ate there several times and you can read more of that in my review. All of this to say, ”the location was absolutely perfect!” The facade is not elegant but when you enter, the artwork and the comfortable lobby furniture lend a contemporary warmth intimacy one can only find in the smaller properties. Breakfast is served in an area with only 4 or 5 tables inside and a couple more in an outdoor courtyard. Coffee is ready as early as requested; another benefit of smaller hotels. The rooms are impeccably clean, the bed comfortable and the hot water plentiful. ”What more could anyone ask,” you may say. Let me tell you that the best of all was the personal attention and warmth exhibited by each and every member of the small staff. The administrator, Elizabeth is extremely knowledgeable and helpful in arranging anything that we wished to do. That with which she was less familiar, she took the time to research before making suggestions. From my wife's first contacts with her, weeks before our arrival until our somewhat triste farewell, Elizabeth was a ”jewel.” With Roxana's beautiful smile and excellent breakfast, I told her that she should have her own cooking show on TV. In fact ALL of the staff were always smiling. I felt more comfortable there than with my own family. I highly recommend this place and would be happy to host any of them in my own home.

Stayed for 3 nights while visiting Lima. The hotel is very well located, clean, quiet and modern with very comfortable beds. Staff was mainly friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is served on top floor area and is quite extensive, including cold and hot selections. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. One quibble- room door does not have eye or latch to check who is knocking. But we certainly felt very safe there.

Staying on a business trip. The breakfast is very good, simple but not simple. There are boiled eggs. It is too unexpected. I like to live in a twin room, one bed to sleep and rest, and the other bed to put things. There is a parking lot. It is very convenient to take a taxi to the exhibition hall for 10 sols. There is no KFC nearby, which is a bit embarrassing. In addition, local restaurants in Lima are basically open at 11/12 noon, and breakfast can only be solved at the hotel early in the morning. Reminder: The traffic jam in Lima is very serious! ! ! If you go to the airport, please reserve at least 4-5 hours in advance to avoid missed flights👿

Rooms clean, neighborhood safe, and the service was perfect. Staff found a way to help me at every turn. They had a bike for me to use which was great..lots of good bike paths near the ocean. They had a metro card for me to use. They arranged taxis and exchanged money of They had enough. One thing to know is the hotel.is not actually in the active area so if you want to walk around you need to take a cab or micro. Micros are wonderful. They pass in front of the hotel every minute or 2 and only cost a sole. They almost all go to kennedy park- the centre of action, arriving at kenedy within about 5 minutes. Breakfast was good, but remember to press the button on the table for service otherwise they may nit notice you. It took me a couple days to figure that out. Button method works perfect.

This is not a 5 star hotel experience. Clearly the rooms need some modernisation. There is for example only fans and no temperature control air con. Our bedroom only had one bedside table. When we changed rooms things didn’t work and we had to get them fixed. However staff were very helpful. The bed was comfortable and there was a good sized wardrobe and shower. We had lounge access which was a much smaller area than we are used to and served a very limited food and beverage selection, however Oscar was a great host and did everything possible to make our experience better. We went to the gym but a lot of the equipment was faulty. It is limited but one treadmill out of the three had a non functioning ramp. All of the cross trainers were not working properly. We also had a meal in the restaurant which was average but again friendly staff. Thank you also to Clara who realised our experience had not been great.

Casa Andina earned a customer for life. Since the start they treated us and my family amazing. As we arrived early Tuesday morning. They were able to provide early checkin. They upgraded our room complimentary as we were the bridal couple and this was so useful for entertaining, wedding photos, and getting ready. The complementary morning breakfast buffet is amazing. Useful tip - I found out you can ask for eggs made different and ask for BACON :) The front desk was so helpful all week. They helped us to make our wedding. Also helped with covid test (5 star service - got the PCR test within the same day and they came to the hotel) Overall it was a 5 star experience and my wife and family loved the stay! It was all the little things. Thanks again for everything and sadly now I have to check out but will be back soon.

Stayed here first 2 nights in Peru. Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly staff. Hotel room was very peaceful to relax in, really comfortable super king size bed, plenty of pillows and nice bathroom with bath and shower. We had the best nights sleep during our stay! Breakfast is lovely, more than adequate and we both really enjoyed. Fresh fruit, juices, cheese, ham, salad, cereals, cake, bread rolls, toast etc. Lovely girl at breakfast to assist if needed. Brilliant location, took us a 15 minute stroll to get to the fabulous restaurants/bars with the most amazing views of the sea. We’re off to Cusco and Machu Picchu now but looking forward to returning here on our way back for 2 nights to explore further.

This hotel is in a good location, located in the safer Miraflores area, with convenient transportation and convenient travel. This is a business trip. There are no problems for the two men walking on the road. It is close to the seaside and the local shopping centre Larcomar and can be reached in about 10 minutes on foot.        The hotel's facilities are old and the rooms are small, but this may be a common problem in local hotels. No air conditioning, we stayed on September 21st, cold and wet, and there was no way to wash the clothes. I have to pay for the laundry.         The beauty at the front desk speaks English, the service is warm, and you can also store your luggage for free. It's good!

The location of this guesthouse is very hidden. I arrived at night to find it for a while, but the reception lady was very friendly and helped order takeaway. The room size is not large and it can be used as an overnight hotel. On the first floor, there is a small billiards for pastime, hot and cold drinking water, it is very intimate. El Golf is in a very safe neighborhood and Uber rides were always at our door within 5 minutes. The American breakfast was buffet style when the hotel was full and made to order the morning we left when there were less guests. The old home is beautiful and there is a courtyard with a small dipping pool in the back. We stayed in the first floor suite with a king bed, spa tub and walk in shower. Very spacious for the two of us. No street noise. The desk is staffed 24 hours and lets you in and out the locked glass doors for your transportation and walks. They spoke excellent English and found answers to any questions we had. I would definitively recommend to family and friends.

Inkari Apart Hotel is away from the tourist traps of Miraflores. It's situated in a no nonsense area that just gets on with its business. Reception is good, with English speaking staff. My suite was spacious and clean, although getting into the wardrobe was a squeeze. Nice views over the vintner sea from the 8th floor. The breakfast offerings changed a bit each day, including nice fruit- including prickly pear! The small kitchen was well equipped, including a blender. There is no washing machine, but the hotel has a laundry service, and there are several cheaper options nearby.

Reservé 2 habitaciones standard para año nuevo 2024, una con cama matrimonial para mi hijo y para mí, y la otra con 2 camas. Y al momento de la reserva especifiqué que necesitaba que estén una al lado de la otra, o exactamente al frente. Cuando hice check in, fuimos a las habitaciones y la mía era cama doble y encima no estaban al frente, felizmente la señora de recepción pudo solucionar pero estuvimos bastante rato esperando. Luego, a las 5y30pm aprox llamo a Room Service para pedir la cena de mi hijo, me contesta un chico y me toma el pedido. Pasa 1 HORA, llamo para saber cuánto más iba a demorar y un señor de restaurante de muy mala manera me dice que no tiene ningún pedido y que no era su problema porque él acababa de entrar a turno. Me pareció una pésima atención y pésima forma de resolver un problema. Obviamente tuve que volver a hacer el pedido y esperar más, pero dejó mucho que desear la respuesta de su personal del restaurante e hizo que me amargue el momento. Finalmente, en recepción a la hora del check in preguntamos si Room Service atendería normal hasta las 11pm, nos dijo que sí. Cuando nos fueron a dejar la comida de mi hijo, volví a preguntar al mozo y me dijo que ya no tomaban pedidos porque estaban con la cena buffet. Entonces nos iban a dejar sin cena a mi familia y a mí, ya que al estar con un niño pequeño él ya iba a dormir y yo no iba a poder salir al restaurante. Después de insistir, accedió a tomarnos el pedido pero tenía que ser en ese momento (siendo 7pm, comida llegó 7y20) y lamentablemente tuve que cenar comida fría ya que recién pude hacerlo después de dormir a mi hijo a las 8y30pm aprox. Realmente no volvería al hotel por tener tantas malas experiencias en 1 solo día de estadía.

We visited the the Walwa SPA. The facilities were top notch ! My girlfriend treated me for a massage and then we both did the wet & dry saunas along with the jacuzzi. The hotel is in a good location, close to St. Martin's Square and 15 minutes walk from Plaza de Armas. The room facilities are outdated and listed on Samsung. It is very similar to the domestic guest house. The reception is very warm. There is a free internet computer in the lobby. Breakfast is average. There are scrambled eggs, sausage, bread, coffee, milk, cereal, yogurt, but not enough. Especially yogurt is good, room service staff does not charge tips. It is a good deal to book a car to the airport, and the 5-person van costs only 50 sol.

I did not realize it when I booked this hotel, but there are several Jose Antonio Hotels in Lima. I suppose it is something like a Hilton in the US. I was to join our travel group and was coming in early. So long story short, I booked the wrong Jose Antonio Hotel. The staff couldn't have been nicer. I arrived late from the US, and they couldn't find my reservation. The young man at the desk made a few phone calls, and he figured it out for me. I decided to just stay for one night and join the group the next day. The room was large and very nicely decorated. The hotel must be used as meeting and convention space as there are rooms, a very large reception area, and some beautiful artwork. I had a complimentary breakfast in the morning, and the coffee was exception. All in all, I was very happy I stayed there.

We picked the hotel because it has triple rooms and it’s reviews. However it’s not the great hotel reviewed 2 and 3 years ago. The good points for the hotel are the employees especially Tanya. The hotel is very clean and the location is great. Breakfast is below par. Only one cup and one hand towel was provided to a room despite the fact that we were 5. The espresso machine did not have cup or capsules for use. No water bottle was provided. It feel management looked to cut cost were posible.

Staff is not very helpful for quite important things. We decided to stay at the Radisson near the airport in order to have a speedy transfer the morning after. The evening teat we arrived, we asked the reception to book a taxi for us to the airport, for the following morning. The didn't call the taxi and when the morning after we waited 15 min for the taxiu and I checked with the reception if the taxi was pre-ordered, they confirmed it was. However, we had to wait for another 15 min for them to call the taxi company and finally get a taxi. I honest.y don't think they had pre-order the taxi and they were annoyed when after 20 min of waiting we started complain. We were risking mission our flight! Besides, the hotel does offer a private taxi service (for twice the price of an official registered taxi ) so we asked if we could use their taxi, which was available, at the normal fare. Radisson created the inconvenience not pre-booking the taxi for us, so we didn't feel we should pay more to fix their mistake. They refused and made us wait in total 30 min for a taxi! Honestly not the type of service you would expect from Radisson.

Spent over 30 days in Hotel Las Lomas, this summer for the Pan American Games, rooms we're small however, very clean with a nice modern bathroom. There is some street noise, but certainly tolerable. Small hotel restaurant is quite good, and serves 24 hrs/day. Really enjoyed my stay.
