Very special hotel, I have to say that its outdoor hot springs are really great! Because it is a special experience to see the mountain wall in snow, the interior space of the hotel is also beautiful, it should be an old hotel modification? The part of the room is relatively old-fashioned, the waiter is also XD This hotel is recommended for people who have not lived to experience the experience~ but personally will not run to Aizu XD for it.

We visited Aizuwakamatsu at the national holiday weekend so there were limited options to us in this famous onsen town, Hagishiyama. We wanted a more modern hotel, and while the shots of the room look good on their website, the reality is that it is much smaller than I had expected. Though the room looked new, the bathroom was a disappointment, small and shabby. With two large beds in the room, that leaves little space for moving around. And they try hard to squeeze all essential items of an onsen hotel room into the smallest space possible, including placing the vanity unit in the living room opposite the sleeping platform, sharing space with a kettle and drinking water glasses. There is a shoe stand and a folding screen in-between the toilet and bathroom, which is hugely strange and inconvenient. Ours is a 12-tatami room, which I expect would be good for 3 people, but the reality is that it is so cramped that one would not want to spend much time in the room. Perhaps that’s the reason why the hotel provided a lot of public sitting areas. Yes, for guests to admire the magnificent view of the mountain stream, but also to stay out of the uncomfortable room. The room was a huge disappointment but there are some nice sides of the hotel. Dinner was really good; we had window seats facing the waterfall and the Aizu beef was very delicious. The public onsets, especially the outdoor ones, are nice, situated just next to the mountain stream. All in all, for the US680 I paid for three, it was not good value for money.

The service in Japan is really impeccable. The bus departing from Aizu Station is not at the nearest Higashiyama Onsen Station. The bus driver helped us contact the hotel, and the hotel’s shuttle bus came to pick us up. Although it was snowing that day, Feeling warm! The hotel’s hot spring is indoor and outdoor, and the toiletries are very complete and clean. There is snow floating outside and the outdoor hot spring ♨️ is really enjoyable. Regardless of management, hygiene, and the makeup of the service staff, this is a very good hotel!

Only breakfast was not dinner, twin, and I had one person to use. The best thing was that I could have two baths in Chiyo waterfall and four baths in the new waterfall of the sister hall. I think this price is really good for this quality. I stayed at ashinomaki Onsen the next day, but it is an inn that makes me think I should have stayed here for a long time.

Tajima when I noticed that I went to Akagi by solo bike touring (wandering). Decided here at the cheapest in Higashiyama Onsen on a famous travel site. Ashinomaki Onsen is closer, but it is difficult to secure meals in ashinomaki Onsen hot spring in the night before. The parking lot across the road is unpaved, but it is safe to have a place without anxiety even in the motorcycle stand. The room is a hall with 16 tatami mats, and it is clear that it is ”out of the room” even if it looks at the facility from the price, but the bus is also a retro addition of the toilet. It was probably the cause of the ”inuki” that caused the worry of Nabe. The cleaning was well done and I was able to stretch my limbs and spend comfortably. Even if you don't go to the series bath, it is comfortable if the bath of the facility is empty. I think the amenities were substantial. It was a pity that the breakfast that others praised was omitted in relation to the plan. It is recommended for those who want to relax or disguise without entering the inn, and to make a trip to spread knowledge greedily. I can see that the price is suppressed and you can do it yourself, but you will not become poor, but I agree with it all. If you have another chance, I will consider using it.

The parking lot near the building is narrow and you will be directed to park in the farthest parking lot as you arrive. The lobby was clean and the lounge provided complimentary drinks. I didn't have to fill in the check-in myself, and after being guided to the room, I was able to relax in the room immediately after dinner and the inside of the hotel. The front desk told me that the rock bath is too small to recommend, so I enjoyed the two large baths, but it was a quiet hot spring with a view of the river, and it was comfortable. Since we live in the mountains, we had a lot of vegetables for dinner, but many of the dishes were flavored with soup stock and looked beautiful. Unfortunately, the grilled fish was lukewarm. Because the price was high, I thought the main dish would be Japanese beef, but I was a little disappointed that it was domestic beef. After dinner, my friend had a stomach ache, so I asked the front desk for directions and was told it was a 15 minute walk, so we set off on foot. The temperature was -4 degrees Celsius, it was snowing a little, the ground was frozen solid, and we walked for about 30 minutes trying not to fall. Taxi on the way home. When I looked it up later, the distance was 1.7km. When I told the man at the front desk about it, he answered, ”I always walk in 15 minutes.” I was angry that the remark came out before the apology. How many people do you think can walk a snowy ice van and a 1.7km snowy road in 15 minutes? Still, the bath in the room was too great, so I was more satisfied. Only one person at the front desk was disappointing because there were many good places.

Large, clean rooms and nice onsen with outdoor bath on the waterfall (be careful of the steps going down). But the attraction is Dinner On-the-Riverside-Waterfall! What a treat! The food paired with sake is delicious, and starting the appetizers before sunset & ending a great meal after dark was really remarkable experience. The fresh river air, total mountainside of solid trees, sitting at the upper section of the modern restaurant dangling our feet in the hot mineral-water Foot Bath is pure relaxation! Make sure your reservation is for half board (Japanese Dinner & Breakfast) ON THE RIVER @ Kawadoko (there are different meal plans). About 17000yen /person with grilled steak and local sweet water fish, aiyu.

Karaoke 🎤 was a reservation system, so I couldn't enter it, but the machine in the game room 🎮 was a relatively old model. The spring quality is sulfate, and it is effective for nervousness, muscle pain, coldness, chronic digestive inflammation, etc.
