I went on a family trip. The location of the hotel is really good. It's a 5-minute walk from BTS, there's a 7-Eleven nearby, and the staff is friendly.

Hotel Mermaid is an excellent option, especially at this price point. I had stayed here twice before, 2 years and 3 years ago. This visit I spent 4 nights in a studio room on the 8th floor. The room was comfortable, with two easy chairs, a desk, wardrobe with safe box, fridge (not cold enough), small but modern TV, and a hot shower with great water pressure. Wifi was solid as well, and the view from the 8th floor was nice. I used the pool every day, small but clean, with chairs and towels provided. Staff were professional and courteous. Location is not great, but not bad. In between Asoke and Phrom Phong BTS stations, and close enough to the main road. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby, but there aren't as many food carts, drink carts, and fruit sellers, etc. as I like. All in all though, a very good hotel at a very good value. I will definitely stay here again.

Went with family and booked a one bedroom suite. Great location, lovely room with an extra bed, good pool, nice staff, wonderful room service. Away from the hustle bustle in Sukhumvit area. Very close to 7/11 and couple of Indian restaurants though not tried. The breakfast area is little small so choose your time accordingly else one has to wait or sit outside. Vegetarians will have a nightmare as there's not much in the menu, but they have lovely kitchen in the room. So, I would strongly suggest to carry maggi and other stuff if you are going from India. We didn't carry anything and we missed it. Washing machine inside the room is very useful if the stay is for 4-5 days. Skytrain station is a little far from there but I would recommend not to use it as taxis are far cheaper for the shorter distances. Ms. Cream at the reception is needed to be given a special mention here as she was really good at her work in terms of check-n and other queries. The entire staff is extremely helpful. Overall, recommended.

this was my second time spending my vocation in this hotel. Everything was perfect but it would be great if there's more vegetarian/vegan options for the breakfast buffet. i will definitely come back again becoz of the smiles I saw on every staff's face and ten excellent service they provided.

Location of the hotel was good. First day when I checked in, I had no hot water, told the reception to have it checked. As I had to leave for dinner, I explained that I didn’t mind the hotel staff to go into my room to settle the issue, the receptionist brushed me off in an impatient tone to go. When I came back to the hotel, the hot water issue was not resolved, I had to run the water for 15 mins before I could get warm water (not even hot). When enter the room, the room was also super dark and you had to maneuver your way in the dark to press the master key beside the bed to light up the room.
