Lovely room; worlds most comfortable bed! Staff were nice and willing to help - although, I booked this hotel because they said they had bilingual staff. No one could speak English; this was disappointing as I’d hope to ask for travel advice. Hotel is a short drive to the Peoples Park, the Monastery and DuFu’s Thatched Cottage. Staff were happy to hold our bags for us after we checked out, however on collection they tried to charge me 15¥ because a face cloth had some makeup on it; which is ridiculous. That’s what they’re for?! This rather soured our experience here. Overall, clean, good location, comfortable - just be careful about extra expenses they may try swindle from you.

The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, spacious and bright. The lady at the front desk was beautiful and polite. She was very friendly and courteous. They also provided free breakfast. Because we got up late, we had room to eat hot pot, haha, so we mainly ate breakfast. The fruit calms down the heat haha. When I left, the young man saw me dragging two suitcases alone and helped lift them to the car. It was very nice. The hotel is very close to various attractions. It was great. Positives: The rooms are really good looking and clean. The location is great - a lovely area to walk around and explore. The staff are very polite and kind. There is a small gym and a laundry room. Very strong AC. Really large room sizes. Negatives: NOISY!!! Always noisy - day and night. There is construction on the fourth floor. There is music playing in the hall all day and all night which you can hear in the room (especially if you are in a room where the speaker is directly outside the door). There is no sound proofing and you can hear people in the other rooms across the hall and people shouting in the hall. Aiyi didn’t make the bed - just gave new towels and water - I thought this was a little strange? Bar is limited.

Upgrade the room for RMB 1 for each day land me with tatami style room. Room look dated some broken here and there’s not complain much but ok for stay not for 4* hotel though. Weird lighting setup, need to walk to bed area only can have master lighting to light up the room, else at door rather dark. Situated at 1 min away from K exit from TCM university metro station. Near to Kuan zhai alley (950meters), Qingyang palace (4-500meters) and Dufu cottage (didn’t go as don’t have enough time). Convenient using metro to Jinsha museum and most of the place.
