Sonesta Columbus Downtown

Great to see the improvements that Sonesta has made at this hotel. We have stayed here in the past and this was an improved experience for sure. Assistance at the front desk was good. When requested to make a change in my room it was facilitated without any problem. Rooms are well equipped and spacious. Quality of WIFI in the hotel is good. With 2 elevators you can get up and down quickly enough. It is nice to see that the inhouse bar / restaurant has remained. Good menu and options. The morning breakfast is Okish; not really worth the money at the moment. So definately room for improvement here. All together a good hotel to stay if you are in Columbus!

Nice hotel but disappointing room . We were given room 308 and although it seemed comfortable the room lacks a full window shade so the light from outside pours in through the window and makes it hard to sleep. The shower had 3 containers on the wall and I guess who installed them on the wall didn’t pay attention that there 2 shampoos and 1 conditioner so no shower gel. Didn’t make for a good stay. Made mention of these issues at check out and didn’t think the front desk knew what to say about the window issue.
The Wayfaring Buckeye Hostel

(Super Late Post) I'd never been to a hostel before going to the Wayfairing Buckey Hostel. I wasn't sure what to expect but I needed a place to stay for 4 days. Don't get me wrong, there is a possibility that you could have some interesting folks staying there as people are people. I stayed in the room that had a bunk... and another set of rooms off that room. I didn't like that those people had to come through my room to get to their room (which was an attic type bungalow). But I guess that is Hostel Life for the lack of better terms. The people that were there when I was there were really cool and we got to hang out in Columbus. We cooked meals and watched Netflix together (not your typical ”Netflix and Chill” but certainly a humble good time). I actually made a friend from New Zealand that I plan to visit in the future! Overall, the stay was comfortable. Bring your hygiene products (soap, shampoo), your own towels, DISINFECTANT spray (can never be too clean and disinfected in the bathroom), food etc. Like living in a college dorm room.

The breakfast was good, the room was quite big and there was a sofa in the room. It takes 7 minutes to get to the bus by public transportation. It is convenient to drive by yourself. Near the road, next to a McDonald's can simply eat
Drury Plaza Hotel Columbus Downtown

The hotel is connected to the convention center through a eating area. They provide free breakfast and a ”snack” at 5:30 with drinks that probably works as a meal for many. Checking in and out were easy and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were good sized with clean bathrooms. A microwave and small fridge were in the room. The bed was comfortable and the room temperature could be easily adjusted. Would stay here again.

Students who are suitable for studying abroad temporarily settle down, the location and environment are good, it is very convenient to go to university, and you can walk there. The key is to be safer and more secure. The surrounding traffic is also very convenient, it was a good staying experience, thanks to the good service of the store.
