Songtsam Benzilan Lodge

We chose Benzilan as our temporary accommodation, which is small, just like Songtsam. Everyone was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. The tadpoles we collected at Baishuitai were released into the small pond at Songtsam. It was quiet, and we could listen to the cicadas and watch the moon at night. The breakfast was a set meal, with not many choices but enough.

The conditions and environmental sanitation services are impeccable. It is indeed a hotel I would choose again. But there is one thing that I think should not appear in a hotel of this level: the hotel cannot help book a car to Shangri-La Airport. This was something I didn't expect because the hotel was located in a remote location and there was no way to get online taxis. If I couldn't help book a taxi, I would at least be given a plan, but none of these were available. I think this is a bit unjust for a hotel of this level.

Songtsam is the first choice for Yunnan. Its quality, service and location are impeccable. Although Benzilan Town does not have many attractions and places to visit, the hotel itself is an excellent travel destination. When you have cherry trees, birdsong, flowing water and snow-capped mountains, you know this is the place to be.

It's a little bit worse than Songtsen as expected, but overall it's pretty good.

Unlock the first Songtsam. The service is friendly and you feel at home. The large sliding windows with a view of the scenery are amazing. At night, accompanied by the chirping of cicadas in the stream and the cool breeze, you will have a good night's sleep. The rooster crows right at sunrise in the morning. The next night we saw a sky full of stars on the terrace. It is a paradise suitable for staying for a few days and relaxing. It would be perfect if there were more choices for dinner.

Songtsam Benzilan Hotel sells the "Nidin Hiking Product" for 1,280 yuan per person. Officially, it is claimed that the hiking + lunch in the forest lasts 6 hours and is equipped with a butler and guide. However, the actual trip is 1.5 hours (including driving and hiking) + 1 hour for lunch = 2.5 hours. The actual situation is Jiangzi: 🙈It takes 30 minutes each to drive up and down the mountain. During this period, the butler and the guide chatted happily, while the guests were left in the cold; 🙈Get off the car and start hiking, walking along the stream in the forest. The guide is in front, eight feet away from the guests. After walking for about 40 minutes, the eyes are wide open. The hiking ends unexpectedly, as if I just took a walk downstairs in the community... ….The professional guide has no professional knowledge and no introduction in the whole process. He has no idea what kind of forest, what river, what kind of mountains, what kind of animals and plants he is seeing; All in all, I spent over 1,200 on hiking products, which made me feel lonely🌚 Comrades who want to buy this product, please take this advice🙅🏻♀️ It is really an insult to human intelligence! If you’re not short of money, just pretend I didn’t say it🤣 Complain to Songtsam customer service🀄️ and see if they can get a satisfactory answer later. ❗️❗️After years of hard work, Songtsam hotels and travel products have firmly established themselves as the leading brand in the mid-to-high-end market in ******* areas. However, we have zero tolerance for such products that insult our IQ. If Songzan does not provide a reasonable solution, we will definitely complain to the Consumers Association!

The hotel has a beautiful small courtyard, I like this atmosphere. It is quiet and has good sleep quality at night.
