Tucked away in the countryside this charming place offers rest and relaxation with panache, rooms being individually decorated to a high standard and the common areas cosy but stylish and I was quite taken by the beautifully designed play area for little kids in the reception . The owner is a really lovely lady and made us feel very welcome as did all the staff. We had dinner on both evenings of our stay and I can honestly say every dish wasn’t just good, it was utterly exquisite; flavoursome fat, juicy prawns, beef cooked to perfection, melt in the mouth mushroom crepes, a divine seafood salad…chef I salute you! Seriously, 10/10!! We spent two hours in the beautiful and ultra clean spa area on New Years Eve and it was just super. I’m looking forward to seeing the garden and pool in the spring as this is somewhere definitely worth returning to.

We had an initial issue with our air conditioning not working but the team at the hotel moved us to another room which was much cooler. Staff are very nice and the breakfast is amazing value. Very close to the station and metro so ideal if you want to travel the area as we did. Iseo on the lakes a great day out by train.

The hotel was absolutely great, very friendly staff and very clean. The room we booked had everything we required, clean towels daily, topped up water everyday, topped up tea & coffee items. The room had decent size balcony to sit and look at the lovely view of Lake Garda, a busy waterway with daily ferries, small boats and paddlers. The gardens and pool area were tidied everyday. Towels provided for sun loungers everyday. There is amply seating areas in the gardens and bar area to sit and relax. Breakfast had great selection everyday including cooked items. Fine dining was served in the evening, we did not eat at lunchtime however our friends said good choice. The hotel was situated within easy walking of Salo town, which had beautiful esplande to enjoy and plenty of seats to sit and admire the view. We booked directly through the hotel's website. When we arrived there, we were informed that the facility consists of two complexes. Once from the apartments/hotel rooms directly at the reception and across the street there is another apartment complex (also with a pool). Everything is clean from the outside. Then we got our apartment and were shocked. The apartment was totally shabby and dirty (shower head holder about to break and rusted, mold in the shower, dirty furniture, the sofa bed with a mattress about 5 cm thick and with steel springs in the back every night, etc.). Not even close to the 4 stars from the website, more like the 90s. When we reported this to the hotel owner, we learned that most of the apartments in the second complex do not belong to the hotel, but to private owners and are only available through the hotel. There was no mention of this when booking. So you can be surprised whether you get a clean, well-kept and modern apartment or not. However, the hotel owner also confirmed to us that only the photos of the hotel's nicer apartments are shown on the Internet. After we spoke to the hotel owner a second time and told him that we wouldn't have booked this apartment for half the price, he offered us a change of apartment for the last night; we couldn't do it earlier because nothing was available. He also offered to refund part of the price, but we are still waiting for that. Because the apartments in the second complex are mostly privately owned by Italians, they reserve the pool loungers with towels in the morning and you only have the choice of getting up early and making the reservation yourself or walking to the hotel and swimming at the pool . Although early is relative, the pool can unfortunately only be used from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The air conditioning also smelled, even after long periods of operation. The furniture and the whole room were dirty and there was no vacuum cleaner. There weren't enough cutlery and crockery, not even for 4 people. Mold in the coffee maker. Cleaning and towels were only changed once during a week's stay, and that only after 5 days. The staff was very friendly and polite! The place is relatively quiet and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes. There's not much more going on there. We would choose a slightly busier location in the future.

Cute little hotel in a great location, a few minutes walk from the beach. My room didn’t have a balcony but it had a lovely view of the castle. Small room, perfect for one person but might have felt too small for a couple. Be aware of early morning truck/rubbish noise and church bells - just wear earplugs ;) They have a deal with a a nearby restaurant for discounted breakfast, which was tasty.

I was a night with my friend at Garda Lake Hostel and we were very good. We were pleasantly impressed by the courtesy and gentleness of the boy to the reception that was available, friendly and sympathetic. The room was very beautiful, clean and with so many hearts on the walls that made you feel welcome and comfortable. Good breakfast and with so many products available. Excellent location as you are both near the center and free or equipped beaches. At the latest floor there is a terrace from which you can see the lake where you can take the sun on the bedrooms or chairs.
